This is a good hotel. There are some bad things that make it lose 2 stars in my review, but let's start with the good things. The first one is obviously the location. It is really close to many tourist attractions and restaurants. For its price, the location's convenience is unmatched. The rooms and the common areas on most of the floors are kept very clean, but this isn't true for the first floor. Onto the bad things, I was under the impression that the area where I kept my bag was full of rat poop. I used to have 2 pet rats and those brown shapes sitting on the shelves looked just like rat poop. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and I dismissed it as being something else but on my third day there I saw a family of rats running through the luggage area passing the lobby and into the main road. I even stepped on a small one by mistake, I am not sure if that killed it, I left it near the pool table. This brings me to the second negative thing I have to say about this hotel: I tried to find someone to tell about this for several hours, but there just wasn't anyone around. The rat stayed there for hours. On many occasions I went to the lobby to try to find someone but it looked like a haunted hotel with no one operating it. The promoter was always there but not even he knew where the rest of the staff was. I only interacted with the staff 3 times during my 7 day visit to this hotel. Don't get me wrong, the staff is super nice and helpful, they are polite and they are as helpful as it gets... If you get a hold of them. Final point: I am not sure if this is good or bad, but they will give you a medieval weapon attached to your key that you can use to turn the electricity in your room. It's not very convenient to keep in your pocket but if push comes to shove you can use it as a weapon and inflict blunt force trauma to your opponents. Your safety is ensured as long as you keep your room keys with you, no one is going to mess with you. (I uploaded a picture of the key for your convenience)

We arrived and were very pleasantly surprised because the place is friendly and clean (without booking ₿ 300 for a room with a fan, ₿ 530 for air conditioning) and an affordable price compared to other places in Bangkok. I do not recommend a room with a fan because the heat is quite unbearable, and due to the songkran festival they were noisy and it was impossible to fall asleep. But when we changed to a room with air conditioning, it was perfect ;D two towels and two blankets, you can ask the staff about everything. There is also a restaurant with great cuisine :D and a cheaper option is a lady who serves rice, omelets, and breaded chicken. Close to 7eleven, shops, laundry, bus transport!

We were not in this hotel, but it was a 2-minute walk away. I wanted to do a review of this place, particularly the bar. Of our entire stay in this Kaosan road neighborhood, it is the best place to have a beer or a cocktail, for much less money. The best cocktails I've tried in the area (lychees crush, raspberry crush, ect). The adorable waiter, always with a smile, welcomes you with a "time to drink" that we will not forget. A very pleasant moment that I recommend.

The room was hard to locate. The staff was eating during our check in, she just had us get the key from the front desk. No talking, no check in and check out procedure. The room was fan type, but the fan doesnt work well. Too hot. Not recommended.

We were in another nearby hotel. But we wanted to write a review about the hotel bar, where we went for cocktails. The waiter was very kind to us, even when we didn't stop for a drink. Always all smile. …

This guesthouse is conveniently located at the Khao San Road area. A bath towel was provided but no soap or shampoo was so you must bring your own. The staff member was nice and friendly.

It is located on Khao Sa Road, a very popular area in Bangkok, so it is a great location to get a massage, buy delicious food, and have a beer. …
