Made before covid.I agree that it is not relevant to stay there more than one night but the experience was good and the photos were accurate. No more than one night because in reality there is really nothing around and the nearby beaches are less than the most beautiful in Thailand.

The Island Hideout is a scam: you can still book your nights (especially on Airbnb) you are charged but the place is abandoned and not “under maintenance”The entire building is falling into ruin, I crossed the floor because it was so rotten and seriously injured my leg.Don't go there, this place is dangerous!!

Please note, this hotel is still available on certain platforms such as Airbnb, although it is in ruins and dangerous. The ads available are scams, you will find nothing other than an abandoned hotel with a collapsing floor.

The hotel is completely in ruins, without anyone for several months, even years. …

The accommodation seemed to be available (via the website as well as via google maps). The link on the website did not work. The WhatsApp number listed on the website as contact number for reservations reads your messages (blue checks) but simply doesn’t answer. Advice for the accommodation: update the information you provide on your website and answer potential customers via WhatsApp if you encourage them to write you. That is poor management.

We were due to stay here in Nov 2020. We originally booked through Booking.com. Our flights were cancelled In Aug 2020 due to the pandemic and unfortunately we were unable to visit. …

There was no one there even though booking had confirmed the reservation. 30 minutes of complicated paths by taxi to arrive in a closed place is quite depressing. Fortunately the taximan didn't leave me otherwise I would have found myself alone in the middle of the jungle with around twenty tiger mosquitoes for company. In addition, we had to fight to get reimbursed. Mind-blowing.

Really lovely place! Do not believe the reviews that say it was run down all very well kept and maintained - the pool and the rooms were amazing as were the views. …

The place itself is cool - you can judge by the pictures. However we found that it was a bit of a bit of a rip off.For the dinner which was not cooked onsite but takeaway from some other Thai restaurant (nothing special, not fresh and cold cause it got delivered) they charged triple of the usual price!!There are holes in the wooden floors around the pool and seating area where you can seriously hurt yourself.During our 2 day stay it stormed every day which was a bit scary when you stay at the tree house and no one explained you what the nature around looks like. We were wondering which kind of animals or possible dangers to expect. Unfortunately the roof of our house had holes so the water came in. Luckily not over the bed.We heard motorbikes and some weird electrical beeping throughout the night (I thought the houses are electricity-fee?!) apart from the wind and the sounds of the jungle. I am a nature lover but could not close an eye during the night. This made the stay more stressful than relaxing. It’s a cool place to visit, an interesting experience but we would not consider doing it ever again. It reminded us of a lost place since we were the only guests and we were glad to leave again after two nights. Maybe it was a better place to hang out Before COVID but now without people it’s just depressing. Also I want to mention it’s a mosquito heaven so if you mind getting bites all over your body this place isn’t for you either.

The facility had a lot of potential and judging from the older reviews and pictures it was once really nice here. Unfortunately, it seems like no one has cared about it for a long time. It is in need of renovation, e.g. The wooden floorboards in the "restaurant area" are partly rotten and you have to be careful not to step on a nail. Due to a beehive directly above, our shower could only be used when all the bees weren't flying around in front of it. The restaurant that was once part of the complex no longer exists. Instead, the food is brought from the place at completely overpriced prices (350-550 baht for a simple dish) and then left cold at your table. In addition, there are none of the activities described on the homepage such as massages or yoga. For breakfast you are given what appears to be an old menu, but if you want to order something, most of it isn't available and e.g. Instead of the advertised homemade bread there is toast... The only drinks available were water and each drink had to be fetched from the place individually instead of buying a little something in stock...? The staff are trying hard, but they seem overwhelmed, even though we were the only guests...which is a shame because the homepage gives you a completely different picture. I am aware that you have to make compromises with Corona, but then you have to inform the guests about it and definitely adjust the prices, because for just under €100 a night I expect more than a nice view from the room.
