We went to Khao Lak in a group of 16 students from Sweden, and stayed at K2 backpacker hostel. LOVELY staff and Kok was very helpful. Very nice and comfortable rooms for a very good price! The location was perfect! I will definitely stay here again when visiting Khao Lak!

Easy going, clean place. There is even a kitchen! Good basic rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast place next door.You get an electric token for the front door, so can come home whenever you like and your stuff is safe.

A welcoming place, kind, helpful and friendly managers. I stayed 4 days with my family in a very large room with a double bed for 700b. There is shared fridge, kettle and microwave for breakfast. Very elegant but not excessive, for backpackers who want to spoil themselves!!! Some noise until midnight from the street and some 300b rooms without windows. I recommend it, they were very good with us!!!!

The room was large and the location was good. The bathroom had a very unpleasant odour as if the toilet had been leaking which made the three night stay unbearable. The television did not work, the lighting was poor and so was the WiFi. My partner fell ill here and couldn't leave the room so having a TV that worked would've helped.

Our room was very large and the a/c worked perfectly. However the hostel is on the main road directly opposite a couple bars. Perfect if you want that, not so great when your trying to sleep and the music is blasting at 2am. …
