Our second visit to this tranquil island and our first stay at Laguna. We booked (from AUS) directly with the resort and found Manager Nancy to be clear in her communication and helpful at every step of the stay. All the staff were professional and made our stay such a wonderful experience. Our room was large, comfortable containing simple amenities (fridge, kettle etc) that we used every day. The villas are private and the pool has to be the best on Yao Noi. Varied dining options are within walking as are massage options. At high tide as swim in the ocean is a must as is an evening drink / cocktail enjoying the dimming sunlight on the adjacent shoreline. Highly recommended … we are just working out … when can we return!

The experience started well until we reported that €500 was missing from our room and which had disappeared during our absence. Just before we had asked for the address of the nearest counter to get tickets. Then we clearly reported our absences on excursions.Then we asked in vain to view the surveillance cameras to see who could have entered our room.The management of this bad adventure was very poorly managed by the manager who did nothing but dismiss herself, accuse us of defamatory remarks, threaten us not to divulge anything.Unlike all the amazing, beautiful experiences we had everywhere else in Thailand.Absolutely avoid!

Horrible, scams, avoid!Several guests have reported being robbed at this hotel. Unfortunately we hadn't seen their reviews before going there, and we were also robbed. The only time in a month in the whole of Thailand. The hotel has cameras but strangely refused to check who had entered our room even though we knew when this had happened. Instead of helping us, the management made us wait for more than an hour, only to have the local police come and intimidate us, threatening to charge us with defamation if we spoke about this mishap. We really liked everything else about Thailand. Prefer any other hotel on the island (there are plenty) or in Thailand, you will be better received everywhere and much safer than in this hotel to avoid. The hotel management also made it appear in the published reviews that they were remedying the problem and refunding us. We have never been reimbursed yet, we are still waiting…

Unacceptable booking experience with the "manager" Nancy. It took 1 week to just receive information about the trips organised around the hotel. She was only partially answering, just sending pictures of their trips book. She did not try at any time to advise us on what we could do around, what would be of interest and try to make our trip comfortable. Instead, she has been rude to us and even laughing at our face when we explaine we wanted to cancel seeing the lack of service.

Although the photos are appealing, we were shocked by the attitude of the female manager, who talks very badly to her employees AND her customers. A person who attacks for no reason, who mocks people, and does as little as possible to make people feel good. We were disappointed by this welcome and cut short our stay to go to another, more welcoming resort.

Very decent hotel. The advantage is the location, organization of transfers, trips, scooter rental. Nice villa with a beautiful outdoor shower, very nice swimming pool. But the extra bed was extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast is not my cup of tea, every day you get a card and mark what you want to eat tomorrow. Well, I don't always know this morning, I'll want to eat it in 24 hours. The service was ok, but it seemed to be present only with the body, everything was fine, but there was a bit of a lack of heart. I felt a little reserved.

Very large and spacious rooms, first class service. Our daughter had a birthday during our stay and the hotel provided a small birthday cake. Only the choice of breakfast is a bit complicated, but you can always order something extra.Unfortunately, when we were there, flotsam and jetsam kept washing up on the beach, but of course the hotel can't do anything about that.

This has to be one of our favourite places in all of Thailand to have stayed at and we have been all over Thailand.Nancy and her staff go above and beyond with everything for you when you stay here. Nancy organised a driver to pick us up from the airport then the boat. This made it one of the easiest islands to reach with no fuss.Nancy organised sunset boat trips, fishing trips and the staff cooked it for us even with the restaurant being closed that day. The restaurant food was the best on the island so we are there most days. The breakfast was perfect and we never left with empty stomachs. I loved watching the horn bills from our room. The pool was sensational and never busy. Which was perfect. You could swim when ever you wanted, there were always other guests around but the villas were so well spaced out that you could never heard people.The villas were perfect, large in size and super clean. The location is perfect, you have restaurants close buy, massage close by and even at the villas. The ATM and to buy alcohol to drink in your room is a short drive away, but the mini bar is still only 80 bath for a beer. The local shops are muslim run so you can't buy alcohol close by. But that's no problems, just go into town or bring it with you. This is the best beach on the island and one of the best beaches in Thailand.Nancy, we can't thank you and your staff enough for looking after us so much. Beautiful resort across from a quiet beach; very friendly and helpful staff; excellent meals. They arranged two boat trips for us to several different islands in Phang Nga Bay, including a couple hours of kayaking, and we rented their bikes for a day to explore the island. Would definitely go back.

Wonderful experience during our stay in Koh Yao Noi. The staff was extremely helpful and lovely, always available and we felt warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived.Great location, close to (walking distance) really nice restaurants, cafes and massages spots. The closest beach is in front of the reception.They helped us with everything, from booking our motorbike, boat trip, massages, to organize the full transfer to and from Krabi’s airport.The villa was really cleaned, with a super nice shower outside that was super cleaned as well. The swimming pool is lovely and properly cleaned. We were really happy with the overall cleanliness of the place.We enjoyed so much, and we’ll come back for sure. If you’re looking for accommodation on the island, we highly recommend that.

We stayed for 4 nights with our 2 children (5 and now 1 year old) with Nancy and her team. It was just lovely. The accommodation now also has its own restaurant beyond breakfast with plenty of space right on the beach.The team is so welcoming that you can forgive communication errors with eas when Nancy and the other English-speaking service staff are not there.It was our little one's birthday during our stay and he even got a birthday cake for breakfast.It was simply perfect! We'll be back again one day.
