Lovely, quiet, small-scale hotel in a beautiful location. The plunge pools in front of the Boat Rooms are ideal for small children and the street has everything you need in terms of restaurants and shops. The (Western) breakfast options are limited (also in the area), that is the only disadvantage as far as I am concerned. Furthermore, we really enjoyed our stay here

Located on an island. Speedboat access limited to 8am to 5pm. Beautiful views, wonderful beaches.Relaxing, calming and tranquil environment.Good food in the resort and locally.Masjid next to the resort.

Peaceful beautiful stay. Pure luxury. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Sweetest people I have ever met. Breakfast buffet included with many choices. Also just a quick walk down the beach to the little village gives several choices of eating places and shops including 2 good massage places. There is also massage and meals offered at this resort. You may not want to leave your room or balcony they are so beautiful and with a view of the sea and passing fishing boats

Beautiful and very well maintained resort in a prime location right on the beach. Beautiful and clean sandy beach perfect for swimming. There are lots of flowers and the garden is perfectly maintained. It has a beautiful pool with sea views. You can watch the most beautiful sunsets. The restaurant offers a large selection of delicious Thai dishes. The rooms are large and in perfect condition.

We arrived in Koh Yao Yai spontaneously without any reservation at the end of the day, the objective being to find a nice hotel for our end of stay in Thailand. We arrived at this hotel, a very discreet entrance bordering on hard to find, however a long corridor between two walls with a magnificent alley decorated with beautiful plants and flowers and multiple butterflies flying in front of us. Then a garden opens in front of us and we discover a green square with the sea 30 meters away as well as rooms/villas with swimming pools. My partner and I clearly think that this hotel is out of our budget. We go to reception, another couple has already been there. The receptionist invites us to sit and wait. Two minutes later a fruit juice was offered to us while we waited. We discuss the rooms available and we are offered a spacious, clean standard room just a stone's throw from the shared swimming pool. A very reasonable price, nothing to do with the exorbitant booking prices with breakfast as well as a 10% discount on all hotel services. The next day we left to visit the island and on our return we decided to take advantage of the hotel and the receptionist surprised us with the possibility of upgrading us to a room with direct access to the swimming pool from the bed . Just exceptional and incredibly kind. We recommend this hotel for our experience! We will come back to it without hesitation.

The Yao Yai Beach resort is a fantastic little hotel at a wonderful white sand beach. We spent one week in a spacious pool vila with a separate sleeping room for our two kids - we really loved it and can highly recommend this resort.The management & staff were both amazing, always friendly with a smile on their face and willing to help at any time. You can choose between 4 different, very tasty breakfast options and also eat á la carte during the day/evening incl. drinks & cocktails (10% discount for hotel guests). Pick up service from/to the pier for 600 Baht (one price for both ways). Free kayak & stand-up paddle boards also available.

The location of this hotel is really great. Squeezed between the two large houses on the left and right, the Yao Yai Beach Resort has everything you need and at a very good price-performance ratio. Definitely recommended.

strength- Resort style accommodation Not many rooms But there is a large area. Makes you not feel uncomfortable or cramped.- The food in the accommodation is delicious, the quantity is reasonable and the price is reasonable.- Accommodation and restaurants are next to the beautiful beach.- Service staff Smiling, friendly, ready to help or give advice when requested.Things to consider for improvement- The wifi signal in the room is not very good.- The room feels quite old.- The blanket is quite thin and hard, not thick and soft.- The breakfast menu has only 3 options to choose from every day, so it's quite boring for people staying for more than 3 days.Overall, I'd like to rate it 7/10. If I have a chance to relax on Koh Yao Yai again. I'd like to go back again.

Very cozy, family resort.Had a bungalow with its own pool. Fantastic time there.The location on the beach is ideal, you can have breakfast and eat here with your feet in the sand.The breakfast is manageable, but very tasty. Cozy promenades with shops and restaurants can be reached on foot. A place for those seeking peace and quiet.The beach invites you to take long walks on the beach!The bungalows are very large and clean... left nothing to be desired for us.We would have extended, but unfortunately there were no rooms left...We would come again!!
