Accommodation in the style of living in your own home Have everything The owner of the room provides very good service, low prices, and there is a bottle of drinking water for each person that can be refilled at any time. There is a toothbrush set. Each person has a set of toothpaste. There are a lot of bathrooms. Don't be afraid to compete with each other.

We arranged our stay by contacting Ang, the manager on their Facebook page, directly. They kindly waived the upfront partial payment requirement, as we couldn't use our card for booking. The hosts were welcoming, providing helpful information about the area and even offering us a lift from the bus station. They truly went above and beyond to assist their guests. Although there were occasional instances of miscommunication, they didn't significantly impact our experience.The hostel is centrally located in Old Town Takua Pa and is relatively new, with ongoing improvements. It exudes a picturesque charm, showcasing small details of its history. While there's room for further enhancement, it's a pleasant place to stay for a short duration.However, the availability of toilets can be problematic. Initially provided with a private room with a bathroom for two nights, we were later asked to move to a different room without a toilet on the third night. Despite numerous shower cubicles, the insufficient number of toilets can be inconvenient when the hostel is fully occupied.On a positive note, the provision of two free bicycles and cold water adds a nice touch. The hostel also features a well-equipped kitchen area and washing machines. Its tranquil garden adds to its appeal, situated in an undiscovered locale.Takua Pa remains serene during weekdays, with an influx of tourists primarily on Sunday afternoons for the weekly market. Hopefully, this place will continue to attract travelers seeking authentic experiences away from the tourist crowds. However, it's worth noting that even the Sunday market seems geared towards tourists, suggesting a shift in the town's focus.

Beautiful hostel interiors in an old Chinese house, very nice owner, everybody was very friendly. Nice calm old town with beautiful old houses. Ang showed us his farm wich is really interesting if you like nature and plants. If anybody can help you they do it. Worth to visit old town and stay in the hostel, we stay there for 3 days and loved it.

What an unexpected but great find was this! Very nice hostel, lovely gardens and seating areas, run by the most friendly people in a picturesque little town that reminds of Penang (street art) meets Hoi An (old architecture). I would love to come back here.

Ang and X are fantastic hosts. They are very helpful whenever I asked a question. Ang took us to his farm and on a hike to the grand canyon. The hostel has comfortable beds, free hot and cold water! It offers the opportunity to cook and wash your clothes. The location of the hostel is in the old town, between cozy restaurants, coffee bars and shops. Everything is within walking distance. I recommend to stay here!

Wonderful, lovely host - including his mum who is very caring and nice to talk to. Nice and big house 🏡 with garden to sit and relax. Have books 📚, coffee ☕️, bicycle 🚲, washing machine, Wi-Fi, … good and affordable place to stay and explore the green and traditional area. The room could be a bit noisy and or warm, depending on outside heat, some rooms have AC. During night it’s quiet, other guests respect night peace/ quiet and good to sleep 💤. Owner is passionate about gardening and nature. Lets see what Takua Pa has to offer soon (community project) … Some lakes, national park and waterfalls around; about half hour to the Khao Lak beaches.
