The bungalows are nicely arranged with a small garden. It is clean and functional. There were problems with the booking afterwards; it ended up costing significantly more than was agreed in writing. We then canceled the booking.

We stayed at the beyond Resort, unfortunately we can't say anything about the Garden Villa.But scooter rental and organization of excursions as well as taxi rides via the incredibly nice operator Som were perfect. The family also has a nice little restaurant, where we only had drinks.Best contact for activities if you stay at the beyond Resort, thank you very much 😊

Neat and clean bungalows in a quiet area. Lovely beach a 10-minute walk away with beach bars where you can enjoy delicious food.The kitchen of the restaurant at the villas is also excellent.Highly recommended.

On the way to Phuket we were looking for accommodation for 2 nights in Kao Lak. It was already dark when we disappointedly turned our backs on the large Graceland Hotel bunker that we were actually heading for. Time was slowly getting tight and the Navy simply didn't want to find the River Garden. Finally we drove to the Beyond Resort because according to the map it was exactly opposite. Finally found it, no one was there except for a bell. It took less than 2 minutes and the very friendly owner/daughter? Quickly checked us into a small bungalow. The bungalow, about 16 square meters, was small but nice, with a comfortable double bed and very clean. A raised terrace provided a view of a carefully planted area that housed all kinds of flora and, above all, fauna. Cockfights, geese and cats as well as two incredibly cute hummingbirds that always spent the night under the same tree leaf could be admired. Here we also saw the first really large geckos (approx. 20-30 cm). Upon request, a simple breakfast could be brought to the terrace. The family's entire operation includes the Bungallows, motorcycle rental, mini market and a highly recommended restaurant. About 7km outside the tourist center of Kao Lak, the prices are a little more moderate and, above all, the location is much quieter. The distance to the very beautiful Pak Wep or Bambi beach is approximately 800 to 900 meters. Is easy to reach on foot. There are Thai massages and nice restaurants right by the sea. We can unreservedly recommend the bungalows and the restaurant. The price per night was around €3o. Of course there is no pool, but there is cleanliness and comfortable beds, friendly, helpful people and proximity to the beach. Everything you need in one place!
