I can NOT recommend staying here! My experience: I booked the room months in advance, but when I arrived, nothing was prepared yet. They didn't know who I was and what I wanted. At first, even no one was in the office and the guy had to be called to come. Then they first had to prepare the contract and clean the room for me. It was just luck that they even had the room that I booked available. Even though I had booked a room with a balcony, the balcony existed, but was not accessible, because it was tiny (maybe max. 1 square meter) and half of it was covered by the ventilator of the AC. So of no use at all. Further, I had a very bad smell coming from my shower drain. I could hardly be in the bathroom/shower for long. A week after I told they, they finally fixed it. Also, my mattress was very old. One metal string came out which was right on my lower back and gave me very bad back pain. I had to take pain killers in order to be able to walk and go to work. They changed the matress, but the new one was very old as well. Then I had a bad smell in my kitchen, which I could not really locate. Either it came from the washing machine or the kitchen sink. Cleaning did not help. Since the room faced the very busy street and the windows were not insulted, it was super noisy during the night. The location is not good either. Very far from the city center and you have to walk for 15min to get to the buses which go to the center. For all that, the price is way too high!! With the education discount I paid 13,000bt excluding utilities! For electricity they RIP YOU OFF!! I paid almost 4000bt per month extra, even though I only used the AC during the night. Instead of the normal price, which is between 4 and 5bt per kw/h, they charge you 8bt, so almost double the price!! Be very careful with that!!The only positive thing was the daily shuttle to Thammasat University and UN, which was convenient and worked well. This is why I give the place 2 instead of just 1 star.If you should end up staying here, DON'T make a contract for several months! First see if you like it, and then you can extend your stay easily (also for days, even though they tell you at the beginning, you can only stay for whole months). I made the mistake of getting a 3 months contract, but it turned out that I had to leave one month earlier. They didn't pay me back the deposit, so I had to pay for the whole month even though I did not stay there!! I heard that if you book via airbnb, utilities are already included, so you should book there. But after all that I said, DO NOT STAY THERE!!!
