This place is also known as "Good Space Hostel." We booked through Agoda and the experience is pretty "so-so. " Our trip was on the Christmas of 2023.Good things:1. The rooms are cheap and are located near Hua Lamphong MRT station and the Marine Department pier for Chao Phraya Ferry. There are a lot of places to eat and see near the area since it is near the entrance of Chinatown.2. This place is also 15 minutes from the Bangkok Train Station. We considered this place given that we will also go to Cambodia after our trip here and we will ride a train.3. It is near Chinatown, Wat Traimit Temple, the Talad Noi district, and River City Bangkok.4. The price is reasonably good. Some points to consider before booking:1. We checked in around 4 am and the hostel was closed. You need to call them in advance so that they will open the doors for you. Good thing we booked an airport transfer through the KKDay app and the driver called the owner before we arrived.2. The lady owner is fine. I read reviews from Agoda that the lady is a bit "obnoxious" but I disagree. Being an Asian, the lady owner (I call her auntie) is like your typical auntie who wants everything to be in order. You cannot bring your shoes in the room and she'll be upset if you're going to eat food inside your room. The lady is so sweet, she gave us oranges before leaving. She also taught us how to use the coin laundry in front of the hostel.3. They will not change your towels every day. No hostel/hotel room service either. No extra pillows.4. No private bathrooms. I have an issue with this since there is a CCTV directly above the bathroom so they might see you naked.5. The location is located on a street where most of the shops are automobile repair. There might be loud noises in the morning.6. There are few electric sockets.7. There are no room windows here but there is a window near the sink. You can see the neighborhood there, even Icon Siam.Overall, I think our experience is okay. Should I book this again: I might be, but not for a long time.

the upstairs room is lovely and spacious however when we arrived we were informed that the room we had booked was actually occupied by someone else. my girlfriend and I were given a bunkbed room without windows for a larger price. the bathroom was quite public.the lady who runs it is a character. she makes sure to keep the hostel clean however she does also tend to bang on your door at 2 in the morning with various reprimands. ensure that you close all doors fully and turn the air conditioning off when you leave the hostel for the best chance of escaping this fate.

There is a self-service laundry. The washing machine is 40 for about one hour and the dryer is 60 for about two hours.

A nice place to sleep and good value for money altogether. The room (we slept in a private room for 2) is on the roof of the guest house.Pros --Big room, very spacious. Good a/c, good bed-Big and cool shower, its half open to the outside (dont worry, full privacy) so you get city views and cool breeze while showering, pretty awesome. Very fun in day & night. Very hot water-The place is located 5-10 mins walking from Hua Lamphong train & metro station, so you get good connectivity to other parts of BangkokCons--Since it's on a top floor, it gets super hot in there. a/c will have to be on 24/7 to keep the room in a bearable temperture when you get back to it.-Though the place describes itself as a "hostel & cafe", no cafe is to be found. It has a coffee machine but no one seems to operate it, and the place was completely empty (from other guests and costumers) the time we were there. Maybe it's due to end of the season, but still.-It's in a remote part of china town so dont expect any interesting activity downstairs. The center of china town is about 5 mins walking.-The street of the guest house is kind of industrial street, with garages and workshops so it gets a bit noisy early, not anything extreme but we definitely had some noise at ~8 am. Noise stops in afternoon-evening so no problems at night, but since it's an industrial street, it's pretty abandoned after 8-9 pm, so can be not pleasant to walk through if you like to be with other people around.

Beautiful cozy place with free Wi-Fi and cheap yet delicious coffee... They run a hostel service also from the first floor onwards... We booked ourselves the rooftop family room which was great.. The whole house is made up of wood, one will get the authentic Thai feel from this place.. The wooden stairs are a bit steep so senior citizens please avoid.. Good for couples or singles..

This place is cute, has good coffee and is far enough off the beaten path to feel like a hidden gem. However, the music is truly awful. I would almost rather listen to the noise of construction workers outside than the awful Western pop!
