I stayed at Masakali in August with my family. We enjoyed a dream vacation. The location is fabulous. We really liked the view, the quiet, the service. All employees are extremely helpful. The food was delicious. Masakali is the ideal place to connect with nature and leave everyday worries behind. I couldn't use the pool because the water was too cold. Although I thought the temperature would be suitable for the beach, it was not. Many times it was cloudy.Anyway, the place is wonderful, I would love to go back to enjoy the rice fields, the hospitality of the people, the fruits.... I recommend Kantu as a guide. He is a warm man, an exceptional driver. On the days he was our driver, he gave us information about the tourist attractions, took our pictures, took us to visit the village school.Thank you, Masakali for the beautiful days spent at your place!

Absolutely fantastic accommodation in the middle of rice fields, off the beaten track. A narrow footpath leads from the street to the accommodation and is illuminated at night.Our villa looked exactly the same in person as it did in the photos: the infinity pool with a view of the rice terraces, the stylish outdoor bathroom and the entire living room with all the Balinese decoration.The entire staff and especially Ira, the hotel manager, were extremely courteous and available at any time via Whatsapp. All of our questions and wishes were fulfilled, e.g. B. a private yoga class organized at short notice or the laundry service, which is incredibly cheap.There is no restaurant per se, but breakfast as well as all other food and drinks are delivered to your villa at any time. Despite the seemingly lonely location, there are a few restaurants within walking distance that are highly recommended and offer great value for money. We were e.g. B. in Nini Warung, a relatively newly opened restaurant, which is run by a very warm Balinese extended family.We would come back at any time :-)!

Beautiful place with great service!We spend 3 nights in Villa Jala. There was nothing to complain about, everything was great. The staff around Ira was very friendly and helpful in every situation! Especially the service of Kantu was magnificent. He drove us everywhere we wanted, gave us a lot of recommendations, negotiated discounts for us and just made this stay a time to remember.

Perfect for avoiding the chaos of Ubud and still reaching any destination in central northern Bali also thanks to the driver available. Kantu super kind and helpful!Ideal for families, there are 3 of us, but also for couples looking for relaxation in addition to tourism.Better live than in photos
