Please don't stay in the cheap fan rooms, they have been known to gift guests with a host of bed bug bites. The other AC rooms are ok with small beds and subpar AC like other spots in town. The wifi also sucks especially in the rooms. But there is a big bathroom. I guess if you're on a budget and looking to take what you can get stay here. The staff are super nice and friendly, just have a poor standard of english.

I got to Santai at night because I couldn’t find a place to stay and I got the cheapest room (200k). Despite the fact that the garden is beautiful and the bungalows look good from the outside, wait to see inside. I have had the worst experience in Indonesia so far and I thought I could handle bad environments, this place has everything you don’t want : big hornets nest in the room, bed sheets full of holes and ant/spider eggs, mosquitoes at night (woke up with my face full of bites), no power 80% of the time, no water in the shower 50% of the time, the sink wasn’t working, the wifi doesn’t reach the room and I had to broom the floor myself before installing myself in the room. I wouldn’t have paid more than 50k for that room that feels more like camping outside. The only nice thing about this place is the location, the pool table and the garden. Not for me.

and they have a bar with the complete beer choices in town and it's very cool and the staff are very friendly and beautiful and they like to help
