My mate and I spent a night there before our volcano hike and we were warmly welcomed and looked after by the small family.
The rooms were large and very clean, there was absolutely nothing lacking. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone in Senaru!

Rumah KawanThis 2 bedroom Home Stay is situated in the heart of Senaru, with a local warung (local eatery) directly across the road with really cheap and yummy food. Tina and Agung live at Rumah Kawan with their 3 awesome children who have the most beautiful manners and love to show you around. The rooms have a terrace that looks out over the garden, where the family grows a variety of fruits, veggies and herbs, along with flowers. There are also little fish ponds. It's a very relaxed environment. Tina was kind enough to make me a fresh green juice in the morning for a very good price. The breakfast options are also good, delicious and plentiful.Agung and Tina were very helpful with advice about tours and treks and they offered a very good price.The rooms are still new and super nice and very clean with a great vibe. Beds are comfy and sheets and pillows very clean. Shower has hot water with good water pressure. Rooms have a fan. You don't need aircon this far up the mountain. All-in-all, a great place to stay and I will be back, for sure.

We had such an incredible time at this homestay. Unfortunately we only stayed one night as we already had other accommodation booked for the following night. We wish we could have stayed longer. This place has only just opened so don't be worried about the lack of reviews. The room is spotless, the shower has hot water with great water pressure and it is separated so the rest of the bathroom floor stays dry. Agung and Tina (the hosts) are so welcoming and friendly who are happy to chat and give you some helpful tips about the local attractions but also respect your privacy at the same time. The breakfast is incredible and they also offered to cook us dinner for a very small fee and it was so worth it. They have some goats which their kids will happily show you if you are interested. This homestay is located very close to the beautiful waterfalls. Our short time spent at this place has been one of our best experiences during our time spent in Lombok.

I spontaneously stayed at this Guesthouse.The owner is really kind and made good food for me. Also she provided me with some usefull information about the Rinjani hike.The room itself and also the bathroom were really clean and comfortable.Highly recommend this place. Thank you

We stopped by spontaneously because of the good reviews and happened to get a room for one night. We immediately felt very welcome and were warmly welcomed by the family.Here we had the cleanest room during our entire stayIndonesia.The breakfast was prepared with love and was super delicious.Would come here again and again, highly recommended!

We slept at Rumah Kawan the night before our Rinjani hike. The hostess was so sweet and accommodating! She gave us some tips and was very helpful. The room was also one of the best we had in Indonesia! Very clean, warm water, comfortable & large bed. I can highly recommend this accommodation! I would book again.

I recently stayed in a twin room at Rumah Kawan Senaru, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed that provided a great night’s sleep after a day of exploring.The hosts, Agung and Tina, were absolutely wonderful. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home and were always available to offer advice and assistance with anything I needed. Their warmth and hospitality truly enhanced my stay.I also took advantage of their Rinjani Trekking package, which was fantastic. Everything was well-organized, and the trek itself was an unforgettable experience. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, making the trek both enjoyable and informative.Overall, I highly recommend Rumah Kawan Senaru Guest House for anyone planning a visit to the area. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and adventure. I can’t wait to come back!

I had an amazing stay that hosted by Agung and Tina, they were very kind and friendly. My mountain trekking arrangements to Mount Rinjani was flawless so that I just needed to focus on my mental preparation. Their place is well located near the water falls and traditional villages.
