The owner is very friendly and tries too little to make up for issues that occur during your stay.I get it it's a 'homestay' but imo you should care more about your guests and provide the most basic things - like a washed bedsheets (mine were certainly not washed for some time).From time to time there were issues with water, which was (allegedly) caused by other guest leaving the tap open. Then when the water came back there was barely any pressure, to the extent that I had to shower while crouching so that gravity helped with the flow... And that happened not once but several times during our 6 or 7 night stay here.THE WORST PART - don't stay in room 8 (if I remember correctly) as there's cockroach nest in the bathroom under the floor and they keep coming out ALL THE TIME.Part of the floor is broken in order to help with shower water drain and that's where they come out from.Notified the owner about this (huge problem to me) and he said he doesn't know what to do, because the holes are needed for water outflow (obviously). Well, I don't know, maybe rebuild the floor in the bathroom to that the water goes out well??As a solution got a bug spray from him and after using it I killed 11 of cockroaches that spilled out from the hole with my own shoes. Nice.Asked the owner for some net and used it as a quick fix to keep them from spawning.Both owner and his wife are very kind but that's not enough to run a homestay well, sorry.

Not very posh place but very good value for money.

BE CAREFUL WOMEN : be careful whit this place, I was taking a shower and the windows are small and open at the top, I saw how someone put the cell phone in to the shower to record me naked and I realized at that moment (hopefully), we recognized Who did it and we told the owner and he called us liars. He also smiled when we told him what happened, which made me feel even more vulnerable as a woman.they protect each other and it is not safe for the woman, they do not care what happens, that is not the way to run a business with professionalism , this makes you feel not safe in the place and therefore it is unsafe. What has happened to me here is surreal, it is one of the worst hostels where I have been treated.In addition, In several comments on Google they talk about the same complaints regarding the facilities, he tells you to close the toilet tap and they have had these problems for a long time so the price does not correspond, even sometimes there is not electricity and water for the toilet and you need to fill it with the low pressure of the shower. they do not have mosquito nets and there are mosquitoes at night, something that is always repeated and they have no consideration that the client is comfortable, it seems like they are only interested in the money and they don't care about anything.Also in the answers this man tends to say that the comments are lies, so here he will probably answer that I am lying about everything.It's a shame that this kind of thing happens, I have to say that his wife always gave me a smile and was nice to me, and my experience on the island with other people was nice.I hope this comment can help people so that they can value it in a real way.On the other hand, the shower did not even have pressure and it took decades to be able to remove the soap, the table mat looked dirty and unwashed, the images of the place did not They correspond, they are currently under construction and they make noises every morning, if you are sensitive to noises the roosters crow since 3 in the morning.The place is behind a landfill and the energy does not feel pleasant.

We spent 10 days in this establishment! Talim is a very welcoming and smiling host always ready to help you!Only 5 minutes by scooter from the city center of Kuta and for a very reasonable price we found what we were looking for by staying here!I recommend

This place was gross, and I don't say that lightly. It really feels like these guys are doing the absolute bare minimum to keep renting the rooms out.Minor modifications that could be made to make guests more comfortable:- A FLUSHING TOILET! This guy legitimately took me to my room and told me to keep the water off on the toilet because it was leaking. I tried to turn the water on to flush the toilet, but it still wouldn't flush because all the water was leaking out the back 🫠- SOAP! After trying to figure out the nasty toilet, I wanted to wash my hands. There was no soap in my room, so I went to ask for some, and the owner told me they don't have any soap. Yuck.- A BATHROOM DOOR HANDLE! There's just a large hole there.- MOSQUITO NETS! There were lots of mosquitos in my room, ventilation openings in the walls, but no net. In an area prone to mosquito born illnesses, this seems like an oversight.- Paint over the huge gaps of peeling paint.- Use the proper size of pipe so water doesn't leak all over your feet when you wash your hands.These are all very minor changes that would take a day to implement should the owner care to do so. I think they just get away with these standards because during high season, accommodations get booked up, and people have no other options. It was too late for me but it's not too late for you! Get yourself a working toilet and soap! You deserve it 😉

This place is far away from Kuta. About half an hour on foot. For 70,000 you can rent a good scooter that will take you everywhere. Our room was in urgent need of a makeover, the walls were very dirty. Towels and sheets in nylon, not cotton. The pancakes were delicious in the morning. Talim and his family were really very friendly people. This place is recommended for backpackers on a budget.

I was misled by the pictures on the booking. when I got to the location I started crying. the first night I did not close my eyes and left the location and found another resort. I did not reach an agreement with the owner on the return of the money, which we somehow (to my disadvantage) compensated by using the scooter. at the end of the agreement, he stuck to the agreement and demanded more money for the scooter, even though he gave the already paid "stable" to another unfortunate person at the same time. 🤢🤮

We had a very good stay here. The owners are adorable. It is possible to rent a scooter for a very reasonable price. The place is very calm, anchored in local life. Thank you for everything !!
