Please be informed that these pages are NOT controlled by the family that runs Bale Datu Lombok.This has been a problem that has gone on for a long time already that these listings have advertised inaccurate pricing and deals to what the real price is, and the family have tried contacting these sites to fix the issue, but the issue hasn’t been resolved and is out of their control.Please contact Bale Datu Lombok directly to make a booking, or come in person to check into a room. You can pay directly at the hotel so there is no problems or worries about where you are sending money.Understandably it can be frustrating if you have already booked through one of these websites, so hopefully this can help explain the issue. Most booking sites will allow a refund for a cancelled booking also.Please also consider how this impacts a family trying to run their business.To protect yourself it is always better to contact the hotel directly, and this is also good practice for any place you stay at during your holiday.REVIEW:Now for the review!I love staying here, I have actually come and stayed here many times since 2016 when I first visited Lombok, although back then there was no accomodation so I shared a room as a guest of the family, and visited again when the accommodation was being built and now stay in the private room of Bale Datu when I visit Lombok from Australia.Very safe environment and very friendly family, very unique place to stay because you’re in amongst the village, so personally when I am travelling, these are the things I like to see rather than bars and nightclubs or western restaurants etc. You hear the call the prayer coming from the local mosque, can hear and see little kids playing games and laughing in the village, there are a few Cows, Chickens and cats that just walk around and hang out. Lots of Murals in the village, why not try one yourself? 😁You can rent Motorbike, book car taxi, ask about washing / drying clothes etc. just ask the Family.Free Coffee and Tea in the mornings.Languages: English & Indonesian.
