Palm Green Hotel

The place could be really nice.If the improved a few things which are mentioned in earlier reviews.In our case the shower and the A/C were broken and the pool was too hot to swim in it.We didn't stay but we still had to pay for one night.If you go there definetly check the room bevor you check in and paying.

TLDR: they robbed me and other guests and pretended they would give it back if I stayed another night and then never gave it back whilst accusing me of trying to take from them?When I arrived, I asked for a safety box and they said it wasn't available. I had checked at this time that there was $3300 AUD and 2M rupiah in my wallet. The next morning, I went to reception and the owner commented that I have lots of gold jewellery. Normally I take the wallet with me everywhere I go, except on one day as I went snorkelling and was too scared I would lose the wallet overboard. I had put the wallet in a compartment in my luggage, both zipped up. and the room was locked. I returned late at night, and noticed that the room had been cleaned and there was a fresh 100K RP on the bed, which was strange. I did not leave the room the next day as I was sick. I checked the wallet at midday on the following day and immediately saw that someone had moved my money in the wallet. I was stressed roughly counted the money and saw there was some missing, scared I rushed to hotel reception and informed them. They asked me how much and I said "at least $900 AUD, but I have to count it properly". The staff came to my room to inspect where I kept the wallet and what happened. The staff told me they would ask everyone if they had my money, and if no one had seen the money by the afternoon I could go to the police. I counted the money properly and counted only $2100 AUD and 1.5M rupiah, I could see there was less rupiah.I went to the police and they came to inspect. I wanted to leave that day but the hotel asked me to wait to make a police report to find a “solution” the next day. I spoke with the other guests and others had noticed their items (cash/headphones/electricals) went missing the same day. On the 3/6/2024 in the morning the owner was belligerent, yelling and accused me of trying to steal from them and no solution. (I could sell the gold I have on one hand and end up with more money so the accusation to try to ask them for money is ludicrous and literally impossible)When I was at the police station, I spoke to some other locals who said this is a common experience at palm green…To add insult to injury: after I filed a police report, I started getting harassed and called a barking dog (mind you, I never raised my voice, even when the owner was hurling vitriol towards me) on WhatsApp by a random Indonesian number. They were the only Indonesians I gave my number to at that time, so it couldn’t possibly be anyone but themSo they scammed me out of another night, and with no money returned, made me feel unsafe, harassed me after I left Lombok and just all round worst experience.

There were cockroaches in our room, the shower didn't work and the facility as a whole was very unkempt. In addition, the hygiene at breakfast is massively poor. Don't be blinded by some of the good reviews. We've already made that mistake.

This review is about the family room, not the Bungalows.The family room is big with a separate Door and we even had our own small garden and covered place for playing. That was great. BUT the house is in poor condition. Door you can hardly open/close. Windows nearly fell apart, cannot close some of them. If you open the fridge, it is awful how stinky it is. Not clean at all. Our feet were black after a day. One bathroom came out of the tap brown water. Everywhere it felt dingy. For that price I found much better places in Kuta. Way more clean. Perhaps not so big, but nicer equipment and cleaner

Very nice place, large pool and half-warm water from the sun. The rooms are super spacious and comfortable, all surrounded by greenery.

The rooms are quite basic and worn out.I'm not sure it's worth what we paid.Before repeating I would prefer to explore other sites

Very wild place near to the most important location of the island (kuta). The most positive aspect is the tranquility and the hotel's position while the services should be better.

I would definitely book another hotel for the same money! Why? Both air conditioners did not just provide ventilation. So very hot in the villa. Ordered lunch at the restaurant and seriously more than an hour later they serve you something that you don't even dare to feed the dogs.Received juice for breakfast in a clearly dirty glass. Something has been said, but they look at you here as if you're speaking Japanese or something and therefore don't do anything about it. The next day you have clean glasses, but suddenly there is milk in your juice🤷‍♂️. Can't just say something again and again as if you were speaking Japanese. This hotel is very special. Traveled around Java, Bali and Lombok for 6 weeks, but this one gets the lowest price/quality rating from me. I would really choose something else although this hotel really has the potential to be something.

I loooved staying at this incredible place. The common areas are full of greenery and everything is well maintained. The pool is really big and clean and even if at breakfast there are not many options, all the food is super tasty and the personnel is extremely kind.

A really good option to stay in Kuta Lombok. Beautiful rooms, good breakfast and nice staff. My staying was perfect, I would definitely come back!
