My stay here was incredible and Amed and his family were so helpful to me that I have never found anywhere else. They offer very nice activities and at good prices, the food is excellent (+1 for the Sate Pusut), the room is comfortable, the view from the balcony for breakfast is very soothing and magnificent!Amed was very kind and helpful, I needed an ATM and he took me, I had forgotten my helmet in the taxi and he drove very far to bring it back, really a helpful person. gold !It was a very authentic stay in places only locals know about and I highly recommend staying there if you want to visit Tetebatu with the best guide! Many thanks to Amed and his wife, they brightened my stay in Indonesia

Our stay at Syaqila homestay was perfect! The room is spotless and comfortable. Its so quiet and peaceful. There is a beautiful terrace above the room which has a hammock overlooking the beautiful ricefields. Ahmed and his family go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, happy and welcome. There is unlimited supply of tea and his home made coffee and it is delicious. The included breakfast was great and he also has a full menu to pick from for lunch and dinner for just a small fee. His cooking is so nice. He also offers to take you to see the rice fields, waterfalls and monkeys for a very reasonable price if you like. Ahmed and his family are just genuine people who want to make your time in Tetebatu perfect and unforgettable. He can also help with transfers to other towns and also offers cooking classes for a small fee. For the price, you really can't go wrong with what this place to offer.

We had a simply exceptional 3-day stay at Syaqila Homestay. We met Amet, who is probably the kindest, cheerful and caring person we met in Indonesia! The room was very clean, for unbeatable value for money, as well as charming owners who will not hesitate to help you with the slightest problem or need!Amet introduced us to the local culture of Lombok, notably through a tour of the villages with their particularities (bamboo, pottery, sarong), as well as a walk through the rice fields, a monkey forest and a waterfall. We also ate a lot in his small family warung, managed by his wife, at very reasonable prices, and whose dishes are undoubtedly the best we have eaten in Indonesia! (We recommend the Olah-Olah and the Urap-Urap!!)In short, it was a real human experience with Amet, his wife and his children. After having stayed in dozens of hotels in Southeast Asia (road trip), this one is undoubtedly one of our favorites! You can go there with your eyes closed ๐Ÿ™

Choosing a place to stay in Tetebatu can feel quite a bit overwhelming given all the options, but gosh we were glad we slept at Amet's place! We were received with hot coffee, tea, sweet rice pudding and sweet potato crisps by Amet's friendly wife, and while she prepared our room (we had booked it only an hour before and surprised the family a bit, sorry about that!), we could enjoy the absolutely beautiful view from the terrace. Swinging in a hammock, you can see rice paddies and coconut trees in the South, and Mt. Rinjani in the North. In the evening, Amet served us the best food we've had in Indonesia so far - you MUST try the Olah Olah! After previous experience in other hotels and homestays, Amet opened the doors to his homestay only some weeks ago, so our room was brand new, clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable, and the night we spent was very quiet (apart from the mosques, but it is common in Lombok)Breakfast is good, and Amet takes his time to chat with his guests, so we sat on that veranda (did we say it has a beautiful view), talking in the morning breeze for a while before we unfortunately had to leave. If you have a chance to visit Tetebatu, stay with Amet's

If I could have given more stars I would have done so. Amet is simply a spectacular man in everything. He really made me feel at home and part of his family. The place makes you breathless, the view from the terrace is wonderful. You can see both sunrise and sunset. There is a place to work if you want with Wi-Fi which is important to me. Breakfast is included and he has several alternatives, I tried them all. I always had dinner there too because he is a super cook, all the dishes were delicious. Water, coffee tea at will. The room is very clean and super scented. There is also a laundry service if you ask. I went on a tour with him and he was my guide, waterfalls, bambo village, pottery, he explained a lot of things also about coffee cultivation. I also went to a traditional wedding. I could write a poem about how good I had a good time. Unfortunately I had to continue my trip, I was very sorry to leave. Book here because you will not be disappointed!
