We booked 7 nights , but decided to leave after one day and night. The reasons being :Hotel itself :- Construction next to the pool starts at 8am-9pm (loud drills , had to use ear plugs)- A ‘no’ attitude from restaurant/reception staff (asked to swap fries for rice , wouldn’t call us a taxi )- Told us food items weren’t available when another staff member provided it.- Slow service (waited 30 mins for menu)- The western food is terrible (the Indonesian food very good)- Closed restaurant (no others around) for breakfast and lunch while they hosted a conference- Loud full day conference with mics and music opposite room (there was honestly no escaping the constant noise)- Assigned us twin beds when we booked a double- Tv in room never worked- WiFi only works in rooms- Rooms in toilet smelt of sewerLocation :- very remote (no shops , no ojeks )- The beach has broken glass and tiles, electrical wires.- Tourist information desk never opened.

During our stay we had renovations and there was lots of noise all day long. The price remained the same and the management weren't willing to reduce the price. The WiFi wasn't working and the air conditioning wasn't cold. The staff were great but they weren't able to help too much because the boss wasn't there.

First off the best thing about this hotel is the sunsets. They are absolutely stunning. I cannot say a bad thing about those sunset views. However everything was disappointing. The room was fine, a little small but clean. There was a bad smell in the bathroom and the TV never worked but that was all manageable.We booked a double room and they gave us a twin so we had to push a little for a double room.The noise in the hotel is the worst part. Constant construction noise next to the pool heard everywhere from early until late. There were constant conferences or group bookings with microphones blasting out presentations or events. There was zero peace and quiet.Staff wise you can be lucky or unlucky. Some staff are so lovely and some just seem to panic and say no to everything because I suspect their English isn't great. For example we asked to book a taxi at reception when we left and they handed us the number to a taxi company but wouldn't call then for us despite us not speaking any Indonesian. This led to a stressful check out as we weren't sure if the taxi understood us when we called.The pool was nice and had a lovely view but needed some maintenance. Some very sharp bits or broken tiles in the pool and around it.The hotel is very remote and there is very little to do. We found it hard to get around.Finally the Indonesian food they offer is lovely but a little over priced. I wouldn't recommend there Western food offerings.We left early due to the constant noise and because we struggled to relax or enjoy ourselves there.

The rooms are clean and large and are thoroughly cleaned every day. The breakfast is also good. At dinner, as is often the case, you have to pay a “service charge”, even though the service is not really worth seeing, they just serve the food.The pool is large and the fantastic location by the sea is really relaxing.All in all a successful stay.
