Nice place to stay, staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are quite spacious, although the lighting is a bit dull. You can hire bicycles and are not far away from the beach. Would stay here again! The Italian restaurant next door is great too.

Overall a great hotel, the rooms are a bit dated and so are the sunbeds by the pool. When we were there, there were only young people here who smoked extensively and talked loudly after going out. Not to say this is always the case, but it didn't make our night's sleep any better!The sanitary facilities were absolutely fine, looked really good. However, the water coming out of the tap was dirty and smelled really bad. It looked like seawater mixed with chlorine, but it didn't necessarily make you any cleaner after a shower. Perhaps this was only a problem in our room.Staff is extremely friendly and eager to help you with everything. Like to have a chat and a joke here and there, very nice.The hotel is very close to the beach, around the corner you can rent a bicycle, there is a shop across the street, an ATM next to the hotel and on the other side an Italian with a mediocre pizza but a delicious espresso in the morning.If the water from the shower had normal quality and there weren't so many young people making noise, the hotel would have gotten 5 stars from me!

We stayed at Trawangan Nirvana for 3 nights across a weekend. The one thing I will say is that the air conditioning was FAB. In fact, it was that good, that we actually woke up cold once or twice but were too lazy to turn it off/up.The room itself was small and dated though clean. The linen had holes in, and though we had asked for a twin room as we were two friends, we still ended up with a ziplock bed (pushed together). Our room was only serviced when we asked, and bottled water was not replenished. We also had to ask for towels on arrival as no towels were provided.The location is good - 5-10 minute walk to the main strip, though we hired bikes through the staff at the hotel who were very helpful. The hotel itself is quiet, and the pool is lovely. There is a shop opposite for water and snacks, though they don't serve any alcohol so be warned. The italian next door is also excellent and would recommend.I think that I would probably look to stay somewhere else in the future, there is loads of accommodation on Gili T but that doesn't mean to say that I wouldn't consider Nirvana again.
