Ideal location, 2 minutes walk from Allezg Belanak beach. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive! The rooms are cute but we had the only bungalow which was divided in two so no terrace on the top since it was another room. And that wasn't what we had booked online. Fortunately the one at the top was not occupied because in a bamboo hut we would have had no privacy.The stay is otherwise perfect so I recommend

This hotel practices scams with online booking sites.I was first welcomed and then had to leave my room because he had supposedly not received payment. A couple of South Africans were in the same situation as me.

I thought I had booked a typical bungalow while I was staying in a brick building with a moldy bathroom wall we arrived and the room was not ready to highlight the sheets were clean in the room there were no bedside tables but only 2 deckchairs we had to stay 2 nights but we left the next day

The service did what they can, but the terrace has no furniture - you will sit on blank bambus, not even a simple chair, really nothing. There was small rubbish everywhere in the toilet, an empty shampoo bottle and an empty tablet blister. It felt like it hadn't been cleaned after the end of the season, even though the accommodation is tiny.

We have had a terrible experience with the staff. We reserved and paid for a bungalow more than a month in advance. We arrived in the morning and since it was too early to check in they let us store our backpacks there and asked us to come back later to enter our room. So far so good. We went to enjoy the day. At 7 pm they notified us that our room is occupied and that they have to cancel our reservation. I tell him that he must take responsibility for what happened and put us in another hotel. At 9 at night we arrived there to collect our luggage and followed the guy who was supposedly going to take us to a new hotel. To our surprise, they take us to a disgusting place, absolutely dirty and without even water to shower. We refused to stay there, so they guide us to another hotel, and this one was full. We followed him again towards the third. In this one there was a room available, but the price was higher than what we had paid in Mahkota, and the guy told us that we had to pay it ourselves, a tremendous hesitation. I wouldn't have minded paying for the new room, but it was a terrible joke, and I tell him that I'm not going to pay anything, it's not my fault what happened. Then he decides that he is not going to pay for it either, and guides us towards a cheaper one, the room for the night. It was already 11:30 p.m. More than two hours wandering around the island looking for a hotel, because of their irresponsibility. In the latter we did stay to spend the night. He agreed to pay it with the money that we had already paid for the bungalow in Mahkota, what less! If it were him, my face would fall with shame. Pathetic and truly disrespectful. I can't say anything good about the staff at this hotel.

Very nice and relaxing place with the friendliest people. Mahkota is just the right distance from the village so that you do not have much noise from animals during the evening which kept waking us up in the place we stayed the night before.It’s a ten minute walk from a lovely sand beach which is ideal for beginner surfers. The people working their had some great tips where we could eat nicely and place to visit in the area.
