Recently stayed with Richard and his family at Riviera Villas during the MotoGP, which was a very busy time, everything was outstanding, we can’t say enough good things, food, comfort, location, privacy, travel advice , the cleanliness and attention to detail was five stars, it was like staying with old friends , the whole experience and environment was amazing. Richard has so much local knowledge and experience, he literally organised everything for us from our fabulous driver ( Omad) and general tourist activities, nothing was too much trouble, one of our best holiday experiences in the world and the best experience in Indonesia, we were very, very impressed.

Very good food! Karedok is delicious. The nasi rendang is so authentic! I had meals 2 times here. The next time I come to Lombok, I definitely will come back to try other meals!

The man seemed kind and manipulated us in through selling techniques. He told us about the salmon he had special today which was really good. Despite the fact that the food was bland and the portions were small for the prices - the owner’s attitude switched around the moment we sat down. Specifically ordering one big and one small portion of fries, we were confused when the two dishes arrived in a similar size. We asked about it and he said what he gave was a small portion, on which my friend received some more fries. Eventually he made us pay for more than we had ordered, screamed at us and threatened to call the police. All because in his words “it’s about one euro.”
