Long Story ShortIf you're OK with flies, mosquitoes, lizards and not a problematic person about cleaning, you can stay here.Else, don't stay here.Pros:- Personnel is very kind and friendly.- Hotel has a good theme & view.- Tours provided by hotel is good.Cons:- Nothing was clean enough: Room, Towels, Bathroom, Sheets, Pillows nothing.- Since the doors and the roof of hotel is from wood, there is no sound canceling from outside. You hear everything from outside (motorcycle, car, birds, animals, other people)- There will be lots of different animals around hotel and your room. We live with 3-5 baby lizards in our room. They were harmless, but not pleasant.- Mosquitoes ate us to death. No way to fix that.- They put a mosquito net around the bed, but it has no effect + they don't clean top of it. So ever night when you lie on the bed, you'll see tens of dead / alive mosquitoes in front of you :)- They don't give you hand or face towels, only 1 towel. And it's kinda stinky because of humid wheather.

We checked into Ketuts Place villas Ubud in the Royal Villa on 14 September 2024 and were booked until 20 September 2024Unfortunately I had to check out on 16/08/2024 for the following reasons1. The access road to the property was closed for 4 wheelers due to a landslide, the message received was on the same day we arrived , how were we to know the road is closed. Google maps does not show an alternative route, instead it shows a fictitious walking path which is non existent. This made it extremely difficult to obtain cabs / taxis to and from the property. The taxi drivers demand more money each time because of the long detour.2. The room ‘Bisma’ was filthy. Stains on the walls, ants all over including the bed , living rooms and the bathrooms, the bathtub , toilet and toilet seat in pathetic state. The room was nothing as represented on the webpage and other booking portalsFinally we couldn’t take it, and decided to move out of the property and checked out on 16/09/2024.Have enclosed a video and some pictures for all future customersKindly consider a hundred times prior to booking this property

Very welcoming hotel, the staff is always kind and makes themselves available when needed!The rooms are very beautiful. We were on the street side, we could hear the vehicles driving because the insulation is not great. This is the only small downside of our stay.The breakfasts are very good, varied and well stocked 😋The swimming pool and gardens are magnificent, a real bowl of serenity after a day in the noise of the center of Ubud (which is a 20-30 minute walk by the way)Several services are offered such as the spa, massages, clothes washing services. In addition it is possible to buy tickets for the "kecak fire & trance dance" at the Pura Puseh temple (located halfway from the center and the hotel)

We stayed 4 nights in this charming hotel, the service is impeccable. You are always greeted with a smile and the staff is always available. The breakfast is delicious and very generous, it's more like a brunch! The negative points in my opinion were the outside noise from the room due to poor soundproofing and the shower curtain not long enough, the water splashed a little too much on the floor. But that didn't spoil our stay and we're glad we stayed there! The swimming pool is really very pretty and it was often just the two of us to enjoy it. Thanks to the team!

Our room (103) was very loud. You can hear the street. Cars and mopeds drive by at night and in the morning and they wake you up from 7:30 onwards. The room below is quiet, but the first rooms facing the street are too loud and should be blocked off or provided with soundproofing. The facility itself is very beautiful. Great pool good food, friendly staff.The rooms look great, very clean. There are always new water bottles. You can quickly get to Ubud with the Grab Taxi. There is a restaurant directly opposite and a mini market 200 m down the street.During my annual vacation, I actually wanted to be quieter and be able to sleep in. Therefore only three stars. In a quieter room facing the jungle it would certainly have been 5 stars.
