There are not many hotels in Tenggarong. Grand Elty is one of the better hotels among other hotels.But even so, this hotel is still nothing special. Maybe it used to be good when it first opened, but not anymore.The rooms are dirty, dusty and damaged. The pillowcase smells rancid. The bathroom is outdated. The shower is black. Hot water is available at certain hours. Dusty wardrobe.Breakfast at 7.30 was mostly finished and not refilled. The breakfast menu is just ordinary.The swimming pool is no longer maintained. The grass around the pool is already high.

Standard room like the others.I didn't expect to get a comb too. Some of the hotels I stayed at never provided a comb. Very helpful for me who often forgets to bring a comb.The downside, the room lights are too dim. If there are activities at night, it's difficult to put on make-up because there are no bright lights.I'm in room 217 today. The bathroom was not provided with a mat. It's a bit dangerous when you're showering, the floor is wet and there's no mat.Overall, it's still okay.

The hotel's location is in the hills, so it is cool and quiet. The atmosphere is also comfortable for resting. But a little far from Tenggarong city and around the hotel there are rarely places to eat.Breakfast at the hotel restaurant is standard and tastes ordinary, not many menu choices

At that time, for business purposes in the Kutai Kartanegara area or what people usually call Tenggarong, this hotel was a little up from the city center.Because the hotel in the city center was full, there was an event from the district government, so I decided to stay at Elty.The condition of the hotel may have been a luxury hotel in its era, but now the rooms are not clean, and one towel is provided, even though there are two people staying.Breakfast is adequate and might be an alternative stay if the hotel in the city center is full.
