The villa consists of 2 bedrooms. To get there you first have to walk 1.5km up a mountain as there are no taxis there. On the way we were chased by a dog. In general there were a lot of street dogs there which made us feel uncomfortable. The wall of the room contains holes through which mosquitoes can easily enter the room. I wouldn't recommend staying there as it is old and very remote.

This place is not for everyone. If you're not ready to take a car through rocky and muddy road access, or look for spectacular entertainment on TV, just skip it, don't be angry when you arrive.For those looking for a place to detox, far from technology and close to nature, even though it's not that luxurious but clean and comfortable, this is the place. As close as possible to nature, as soon as you open the room door you can immediately see the rice fields.Recommendations for preparing for this place: prepare and bring dinner before arriving, because you will be lazy going back and forth from the complex.Internet is also limited (use Orbit), enough for casual Zoom but not for serious events or 'WFH' / 'WFA'. If you want to watch OTT (Netflix, Disney+, etc.) please prepare before going to this place.TV is available with 30 local / national channels.

On 31 December 2022, I went to this villa on social media. The villa was good, I booked it and paid in full at that time, but when I checked in the room wasn't ready, the room was not bad, the view was good, the pool was dirty, the water was so green and there was moss 🥴I didn't dare swimming, warm water in the bathroom, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, the road to access is really bad, and there are no directions, in my opinion, a villa priced at 900 thousand is not recommended, even though I was given compensation at check out because I checked in in the afternoon and the room was not ready , but still can't use the existing facilities to the maximum

I am an independent traveller who likes to travel with my own personal hygine stuff. I like to stay in a quiet place and a room with small kitchen and bathroom. Damara villa is one of the place matches with my style. The owner provides an assistant to help guest in daylight. She is a balinese old lady and she is good in cooking balinese food especially vegetarian. The vegetables are fresh from the farm (forest). Fern is one of the menu...so healthy. If you wish to stay here, you can practice your bahasa indonesia skill communicating with the lady such as changing bed sheet, clean up the room on particular day even what you want to have for your breakfast. Once you stay here, you will feel like home with a new family.The villa also provides a "Bale" to do meditation. If you are a spiritual traveller, you will like to stay in this place for your retreat.Internet connection is slightly difficult but if you use XL, you still are able to get the signal. So if you plan to stay here, you must ask yourself, are you ready for technology detox?

The place quite nice event quite far..almost can say located in nowhere...sadly that the wi-fi and AC not working and said the AC broken. There is a small pool for swimming here. Breakfast available that you can choose one. Fried rice, fried noodle or bread with jam. They serve fresh guava juice because they have guava trees next the wall...it said the normal price is Rp. 1,700,00/night

It's a great place! Quiet atmosphere, direct view of nature, makes you comfortable. Suitable if you want to refresh with family or friends.
