Fellow travellers, if you need to find your home away from home, come here! I recently had an absolutely wonderful experience at Shanti Boutique Retreat, and I can't praise it enough!From the moment you enter the resort, I felt a sense of calm and positivity with the flowing waterfall, incense, flowers, and jungle like garden.I originally came to do a yoga class and workshop here. The studio is beautifully designed, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. It looks out to nature and you are immersed into another world. You feel 'on top of the world'!The instructors are exceptionally knowledgeable and attentive. I had the pleasure of attending two classes, and their guidance was both inspiring and empowering. They took the time to understand my personal goals and limitations, providing personalised advice and encouragement throughout the sessions.The community at Shanti is incredibly supportive. Fellow yogis, travellers, Balinese, and even Mary 'their family dog' are friendly and welcoming, creating a sense of belonging that makes this place unique. It's not just a place to practice yoga; it's a place to grow and connect with like-minded individuals.I also appreciated the cleanliness and organization. Everything from the minimalist decor to the plants and flowers perfectly placed is impeccably maintained, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic experience every time. Shanti puts their heart and soul in everything they do.I highly recommend Shanti to anyone looking for a transformative life experience, even for a day, or a workshop or a yoga class. Thank you, Shanti, and especially Shannon for going up and beyond and for creating such a wonderful space for growth and wellness!

The experience was great!We spent a night in a peaceful bubble, with a cocoa ceremony and a session with a healer.Everything was perfect. The welcome, the setting, the staff, and the activities.Thanks to Shannon for her welcome!

Stay far away from this place! This was the worse place ever!There was an ant invasion in our room (bed, bedside table etc despite having no food whatsoever), and the staff was very uncooperative in getting us a refund for the one night we had left, despite fully acknowledging the pest issue. The only thing they offered was a reclean but the place was spotless so that was useless. I live in Australia so I am used to pest but this was hundreds of them where we sleep and not doable.On top of that, the food at the restaurant was really not good (from breakfast to dinner), and since it is very isolated, you do not have any other options but to eat there. And it is expensive for what it is.There are also roosters around, which literally kept us awake the entire night.And there were blood stains on my beach towel.Overall, the absolute worse stay. Given the other reviews, we had great expectations though it kept getting worse and worse. I rarely leave bad reviews but this was shocking. Very disappointing experience. Stay anywhere else but there! I wish I had taken more photos.

Shanti Boutique Retreat…This is the place you need to go to in Bali! It’s obligatory!You will see the best smiles of your life. And what's more, you will discover a calm, sumptuous, relaxing place...We are here between luxury and spiritualityA place of interior well-being, and also exterior with good healthy cuisine, the view of the rice fields, palm trees and Balinese trees...We meet entrepreneurs and coaches who come here to relax and meet up.Having spent 1 month there (which is not usual) I can tell you that we feel more than good, it’s a second home…Thank you Shanti for your wonderful gifts ✨I will miss you…

Wow, what a magical place! Truly a gem in all of Bali.This is not ur average hotel/spa. I had so many wonderful, once in a lifetime experiences during my stay. From yoga in the bamboo house, cacao ceremonies, a walk through the rice fields, a visit to the turtle sanctuary, a Balinese healing session with Toekik and countless dips in the two pools, I really can’t say enough good things about this beautiful space.If u are looking for healing and a peaceful place to rest, this is the place for you.And don’t get me started on the showers! It is my DREAM SHOWER!!!

Could not fault it.This place oozes peace and serenity and the thought into the design of the rooms / bathrooms is second to none.Probably the best shower I have ever had the pleasure to wash in.Everyone who works there serves with a smile. The view from the pool area and yoga shala are overlooking rice fields and sunset from either was fantastic.If I was forced to give a negative, it would be a tiny one - that the smoothie bowl at breakfast could have been a thicker consistency, and that there are a fair few mosquitos around at the end of the day that maybe they should provide plug ins / coils for the outdoor bathroom.But forget that, it’s an absolutely beautiful place to stay - best so far in 4 months of travelling around SE Asia. Really did offer me a sense of calmness and relaxation, was sad to leave.

If you're looking to rest and reset this is the perfect place!I had the best stay at Shanti. I arrived feeling stressed and wound up and left feeling so relaxed.You can see the owner Shannon has put so much love and care into every aspect:- The rooms are stunning and so spacious. The shower is a definite wow factor.- The staff are all lovely and helpful - I was travelling solo but didnt feel alone as there is such a friendly and welcoming vibe.- The food was incredible- the smoothie bowls, watermelon juice and green curry were my faves.- The activities were optional but such a great way to step back and shift your mindset if youre feeling stuck. There's also the option of booking a trip or just chilling by the pool so you can make your stay whatever you want it to be.Can't recommend enough if youre looking for a reset. Thank you Shannon and team I hope to be back ❤️

Ended my trip to Bali with a beautiful stay at Shanti Retreat. A sanctuary of peace surrounded by nature . The people working there are so kind and friendly. I felt so calm and content during my stay and I can't recommend it enough. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
