A very special accommodation. We got married right there on the beach and it was gorgeous.

Calm, exceptional and unique. Paradise on Earth

First, it’s not calm and private as it’s said on the listing. We appear to be in a very busy area with lots of people and bikes (and motorcycles tours) driving along the beach right un front of us.Second, the Wi-Fi is simply slow and disconnects quite often. We needed stable wifi connection for work and we did mention the travel purpose of ours as “work” in advance.Third, the water heater works for 4 minutes max, 3 of which we have to learn how to adjust the temperature. By the time you figure it out, you’ve already run out of warm water. And it works not only for the second person showering, just to mention. We had someone to come and fix it for us but it didn’t change much.The pictures do not represent the place. We chose this villa because of its looks. Because I’d those designer details which are included in the pictures of the listing, but we get to have barely a half of them.We don’t have those pretty cushion covers, or handmade blue rugs near the bed. We don’t have a big red lounge in the living area.I can see lots of designer elements in the photos but not in the reality.I can’t stress this enough - we came here entirely because of the design and luxury experience.Next, it’s said on the listing that there’s a wellness centre and a restaurant on the property. There is NO restaurant on the territory. There is NO wellness area. The fact that the owners have the audacity to include those two things in their listing is insane.Next, we don’t have cozy portable outdoor lights around the pool like in the photos.Towels had someone’s hair in them. There were stains on the bed sheets. There is no storage space. I highly doubt that guests would want to put their nice clean expensive clothes inside an old, dusty and smelly wardrobe.The bathrooms smell like a poorly maintained public toilet after a quick shower. Once it gets slightly wet, the horrible smell comes out of the floor. I had to ask the cleaners to wash it thoroughly, and they used vinegar. The rest of the time the bathroom smelled like urine and vinegar together.The house is very old and you won’t have promised luxurious experience. The floors and the walls look bad. Don’t know how to find a better description for that. Everything just looks old dirty and greasy. You just don’t want to touch anything or walk barefoot. This kind of feeling.The “drinking” water comes from the kitchen filter and there are random flakes and weird dust(?) if you look at it. Do not drink water there, God knows when was the last time they changed the filter.A Very small shower cabin, and the small broken shower head won’t let you shower without getting your hair wet as the rain shower head is quite big and takes the whole shower cabin area.There are a couple small fragrance dispensers around the house which are completely empty. The first impression we got from the house was its bad smell. The owners definitely need to work on the house smell. This house stinks.After day one I decided to send a message with all my notes to our villa manager Putu. Although I completely understood that he was not responsible for all those things - the owners were. Putu kindly offered us to find another place if we didn’t like theirs. Well, I guess Putu can afford losing $2k that he paid for 6 nights and rent another place if he genuinely suggested such option. Of course, the villa was non-refundable and we just had to move on and change our perception and attitude towards that house. Our expectations were completely unrealistic entirely because of the photos and the description of the house on the website.There was rubbish by the access entrance to the beach. The beach itself is filled with rubbish.There are 2 drains across the beach on the way to the closest restaurant which will keep your feet and shoes wet and dirty even if you wish to stay dry and clean.This villa needs to have another description. You don’t have a restaurant or a wellness centre. It’s not a calm area. The photos must be updated as the current ones do not represent the house.

There are ATC and motorcycle services available for driving on the beach and local roads.

When I first checked in, I was worried that the reviews would be too bad, but it turned out that there was something wrong...Make some objective comparisons:advantage:1. The staff are really nice, especially the female service staff who do the cleaning. I definitely give them the highest praise. They are willing to help with any questions! Also very kind! This is the biggest advantage of the whole trip2. The quality of the location depends on each person's feelings. During the stay, there was only one group of guests like us, and no one was staying in the nearby villas. It was very private and quiet! In addition to the sounds of waves and birds, they are all sounds of nature. Occasionally there will be the sound of ATV activities. It depends on everyone's experience whether they find it noisy.3. The TV can access the Internet and use Netflix and YouTube. The Wi-Fi in the house is sometimes good or bad. It depends on your luck, but it is still convenient.shortcoming:1. The actual villa is definitely not as beautiful as the one on the booking website. It can even be said to be a bit old. The furnishings are a bit special (the Buddha statue is placed in the room) and some cabinets are old and unusable. The light bulbs are broken, the filter at the bottom of the pool is broken, and the pool lights are broken. It's broken, and the lounge chairs by the pool have holes... etc. The hardware is old and has not been repaired.2. The bathtub can basically only be looked at but not used, because the water heater is next to it, which is very dangerous to carbon monoxide! And the bathtub is really unusable and rusty.3. The villa is in the middle of a field. Mosquitoes and mice appeared in the villa. The housekeeper could only respond: Because it is inevitable in the middle of a field🥲 We were scared to sleep all night.4. Because the location is very remote, in a small village, you have to charter a car when going out. The cost for a day is about 500000rp-600000rp. The food provided in the villa is ordinary but not cheap! There are no convenience stores within walking distance, and the nearest restaurant is also quite far away!5. Mineral water, toothbrush and toothpaste are not provided, so you need to buy them at your own expense! (Not informed in advance) The water volume of the water filter is very small, and the cabinet under the kitchen sink is very dirty, so we dare not use the water from the water filter directly for drinkingTo evaluate this villa, I can only say that the service staff performed well, but the owner of the villa did not maintain the hardware properly! The mouse issue was handled too calmly and was disappointing!I don’t know why there are so few reviews, but the current situation is really not as good as in the photos.
