The place is nice and quiet, far from noise

For the first time since we traveled to Bali (last year and this year) we had the feeling that the hospitality is based on money lust. We paid 1.2 million rupiah per night for the villa, a lot of money by Balinese standards. What do you get for that; a spacious room with poor wifi. Upon arrival there was a blood stain on the sheet. That was changed after notification. There is no cleaning in between, nor is the bed made. Something you would expect for so much money. No breakfast is served. Price/quality is absolutely out of proportion. We rented a scooter through the hotel, from 2 p.m. Unfortunately we had to pay for a whole day for this. After saying something about this, the owner kept coming back to this, very annoying and not customer friendly. The complex is beautifully maintained. There was a lot of algae in the cold pool. Tip; If you are considering going here, make sure you agree whether or not you want to pay by credit card. We had not clearly agreed on this and had to look for an ATM because this was suddenly no longer possible after arrival. We do not recommend this accommodation!

We had a lovely stay at Pastany Santy. The owner is very friendly and takes her time to explain what activities there are in Sidemen. Besides, she helped us with a chauffeur and a cooking workshop! Moreover, the room was nice and spatious, and the bathroom was fine too. The location is calm and surrounded by nature. For the people that enjoy calmness and nature, this place is definitely a good stay. Lastly, most of the restaurants/warung are located in a distance that takes around 7-12 minutes of walking.

Beautiful place, very quiet, magnificent greenery, spacious room, beautiful swimming pool.Friendly owner.Cleanliness and hygiene to be reviewed: room (ants + dirt), toilets (dirty + ants), towels do not smell good, swimming pool (frog)The room is dilapidated (roof leak: it's raining on the bed..)

Beautiful setting, simple accommodation - we had a lovely stay. Be warned - this whole area, including the villa, is basically cash only, and there are hardly any ATMs, so come with cash. We found one Visa ATM at the BRI Bank about 4km north of the villa - and it may not be 24hr.

I'm sorry buy I cannot recommend this place at all.First and most relevant: The toilet / wc was disgusting, I don't expect to sit in a dirty wc plate like that one in Villa 1.Second, the host didn't clean our room in our 2 day stay, and they didn't change the towels that were humid the whole stay due to the rain. Be also ready to take your hairdrier.Apart from that, bedroom has not windows, only if you open the main door you get daylight.Wifi was poor but probably due to the rain.About the pool area, hamocks look awful, the cover is broken and they need to be renewed.I'm sorry but I've been travelling for 3 weeks now around Bali, I always look at the reviews before booking, but this place it's been the worst, no doubt.There are other places in Sidemen for similar price to stay before choosing this one.

We visited the place two times as we liked the place so much and tested both huts. The left one is better if you want to have good WIFI as it is closer to the rooter. Still, the WIFI is not always the best. The right one has all light switches functioning compared to the left one. All in all the huts are nearly the same and both very beautiful.The atmosphere is very nice with all the plants. As it is a bit away from the centre, there is a lot of silence. Still, you can find some food locations in some walking distance.The pool is nice but has some algae as the pumps are not running the whole time. I also think the water is without chlor.The staff is awesome. So friendly and helpful. The owner sometimes gave us delicious fruits and traditional sweets.All in all we loved our stay there and can recommend staying there if you want silence and a small hut for yourself.
