We stayed with my family for 4 nights and found this place to be excellent value for money. The room was clean, there was an ocean view from the balcony, and a light breakfast was included. It’s a 10-minute walking distance from the ocean.We chose this place to spend time at Bias Tugel Beach, as it’s not as busy as other parts of Bali. 🙂You can go out in the evening and buy some fruit. There are good cafés and local shops around.Keep in mind that the sound of roosters crowing will be part of your morning. 🤭🐔 But for those who were raised in villages or had grandmothers who lived there, it’s not a problem. 😎I hope this place continues to grow because for this area of the island, they are doing great. 👍

It was not great! The staff were ok, the price very reasonable ( one of the cheapest in the area for a private room with hot shower) and it's less than 10 min walk from the ferry. But the room and the shower were not clean. The shower in particular made our stay very uncomfortable, don't think they ever cleaned the mirror in there...

The homestay couldn't be reached by car, but the staff helped us with our luggage, which was quite helpful as it took about 10 minutes to walk from the car park to reach the homestay. Even though the rooms are quite good, it was a rather poor experience overall. Water was only available sporadically. When I showered, the water came out everywhere except the shower head. And the bathroom was under water, but the staff was unable to remedy the problem. The beds are very hard and creaky, every move felt like it woke me up. We left after one night even though we booked for 3 nights. The staff acknowledged our decision with the appropriate looks. Even if it is quite cheap, the money can be better invested.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCEMy family and I recently stayed in Padangbai, and unfortunately, this was the worst experience we’ve ever had at a hotel or villa. The location was in a narrow alley, which was already inconvenient, but it only got worse from there. The bathroom was a disaster, with water leaking everywhere, and the bed was so noisy that it creaked with every movement we made during the night. To make matters worse, the windows wouldn’t close properly, leaving us feeling unsafe and uncomfortable.The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful throughout our stay. We were driving a big car, and they told us we had to park at the office, where we were then charged 20k per day for parking. It felt like they were just trying to make extra money from us.Overall, this homestay is far from being recommended. The combination of poor facilities, unfriendly staff, and extra charges made for a terrible stay. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.

Room: Quite big with a large balcony. Mine is overlooking the cows, ducks and the odd dog passing through. Also has a side-view of the ocean. Bed is large and comfort is ok. Large place for hanging clothes, great A/C, two side tables (this is not common), and desk.Balcony: Two chairs and table. Really nice country view and some of the ocean.Bathroom: Spacious with good water pressure; including hot.Location: Like others wrote you can only get here by foot or scooter from what I can tell. I drove my scooter in and used their free parking then headed out on foot.Distance to restaurants/ocean: Under 5 minutes. Very easy walking and found a great gelato store and yummy restaurant.Stay again: Yes I would.Price: Good price, in my books. And mine included a free breakfast.Love the quiet location away from bars of the town and street traffic. But you can be there within minutes, if you want.I really like this place and would return.(Someone commented about 'smells' - there is absolutely no odor in my room. The room is great.)
