A very relaxed place. The hotel is in a dream location in the middle of nature. We rented a villa. Top view of the volcano. Mosquito net on the bed. Of course, in any open living situation, one or two insects will crawl around. Overall, the bathrooms were also very clean despite their open design. Very helpful staff, organized a scooter for us. Nice pool with a view. I would have liked Balinese cuisine for breakfast, but there was only American breakfast.

If, like us, you avoid resorts and appreciate the cozy comfort of establishments on a human scale, you have come to the right address.In a soothing calm, a breathtaking panoramic view is offered to you over the Agung volcano.Like everywhere in Bali, the welcome is top notch, the infinity pool overlooking the landscape is very pleasant.A slight detail which may be important for some, the bedrooms and bathrooms are all open at the top of the walls. Watch out for mosquitoes and other flying or crawling insects.We ate there the first evening, excellent traditional cuisine, very good value for money.

A fantastic quiet place in Bali, Sideman, to stay for 2-3 days, if you use a rental car, then you can stay for a long time.

The room so big but its need misquito or something cover at ventilation to avoid insects and strong wind. I had nice help from the staff name nila she is helping me find pad for women period🙏🏿😁. over all me and my friends very enjoy our staying here😊🙏🏿 thank you so much

We spent one night in this hotel, it was very pleasant. The only negative point is the noise because obviously the whole house is open and we are in nature. But a very good experience

We had dinner at the restaurant and wow the food was amazing! We had potato croquettes to start, they were made from scratch (so a little wait) but well worth it, very large portion (which we shared) and a sweet/sour pineapple sauce. If you like potato this is a great dish, also their fries are amazing!For main meals we both had the grilled chicken, which was delicious, husband had his medium spicy and I had mine mild, they came out as promised, the chicken marinade was lovely, the sautéed vegetables great and as mentioned above lovely French fries, it came with a chopped garlic side. One of the best meals we've had at local restaurants in Sidemen that isn't nasi.Highly recommend to anyone passing by, incredibly reasonable price 2 drinks, one entree (shared) and 2 main meals for 200,000 IDR not including tip.Nice setting over looking the valley, wonderful staff. Please visit if you are in the area.

I was initially hesitant to book this home-stay style hotel but I'm sooo glad we did. Our 'deluxe' room was very clean and the views to Mount Agung were absolutely outstanding (even from the bed). The grounds are beautiful and the infinity pool is a welcome relief from the heat. The staff are lovely and are happy to help organise whatever you need. Breakfast is basic but enough. There are multiple restaurants and a small shop (for water/beer/snacks) within walking distance. We will definitely come back.

The hotel has a truly magnificent view, but you have to be prepared to accept the fact that there are a lot of openings to the outside and therefore some possible visitors! geckos, spiders) because the windows have no panes and the roof is raised. There is also a lot of light in the morning and noise at night (neighborhood + animals). For one or two nights it was very good.

Highly recommend booking a stay here. The villa was absolutely lovely and convenient to the village. My boyfriend and I had such a special time here. It was especially relaxing coming from the hustle and bustle of other areas in Bali. Exploring the beauty of Sideman and staying at the villa was a highlight of our Bali trip! We can’t wait to come back.

We stayed in Kubu Tani for 4 nights during our stay at Sidemen. Kubu Tani truly was a great choice. The best things about this accommodation was an amazing view to Mount Agung, great service and versatile service offering (dining option, massage service, scooter rental, etc.)Kubu Tani is located in a peaceful area nearby many good restaurants. The rooms are spacious, the bed is excellent and in the bathroom you can enjoy a warm bath or swim in the hotel's swimming pool. I would recommend Kubu Tani as accommodation for a short or longer visit to Sidemen, if you are looking for accommodation with a great view and a good location and being close to nature is not a problem for you.

Amazing experience. Definitely recommend. Lots of nature around, hills, volcano view (if there’s no clouds and you’re lucky), good service, contact them in a few days before though. One of the best places I’ve been in Bali. The villa is like your home because it’s not empty, there’s everything you need except food. The only disadvantage is that on the second floor (I guess it depends on the season) you’re a bit exposed, locals working on the fields like to watch by you 😂 like you’re a fish in aquarium

Interesting stay here. From most of the rooms, on a clear day, it's an unreal view of the volcano. Seriously, it's special. That's what makes this place surrounded by rice paddies.The accommodations are really mixed. The best way to explain is that they are rustic. It's a good rustic, with a few oddities. For example, the bed is solid/hard, with mosquito net, and it's generally open to the elements - cool! On the other hand, most of the light switches in the bathroom are filthy, ran of of soap on day two, things are definitely warn, e.g. furniture - not so cool. You'll find droppings from flying objects the next morning about. No big deal.The service in general was great except for one person who is leaving the place in the next week.Breakfast is really weak, but passable.For me the place is kinda mixed. I really want to like it, because that view is stunning, but it really could use a touch more of an update inside to be incredible.You can see my 360 images for more info.

It was the best hotel I had in Bali. Sidemen is quiet, beautiful and a perfect place. The Hotel is located nicely to see Mount Agnung and the room is so spacious, clean and comfy. I felt really good there and liked the food very much. The only thing is, you need to know that the walls do not close with the roof, so insects and geckos can come inside your room.

Great hotel! From the hotel room we had a beautiful view where we could enjoy our breakfast every morning. Contact with the staff was very nice, we had a local drink with the owner in the evening. Definitely recommended in Sidemen!
