Bali Fab Dive center

We arrived in Amed late in the evening, but wanted to dive the next day; there was a high probability that we would not find anything. We were lucky that the dive center was 2 minutes drive from our hotel. We were warmly greeted by the owner of the center and found an instructor for the long-awaited dive. It was our luck. The dive itself was amazing. The fauna and flora of Amed are amazing. I could hardly contain my delight, so as not to smile at the sight of each new fish, so that the water would not go under the mask. This was my 5th dive (Cyprus and Türkiye before) and it was the best. Our instructor was very nice and calm. The only thing that upset me was that my husband had a headache after the first dive and was unable to complete the second. Overall a delight!

Very warm welcome from Fabien! We went the day before to test all the equipment. The same day they came to pick us up from our hotel, we went early to the Liberty spot to avoid there being too many people. Léo understood our concerns and took the time to descend at our pace. Good value for money, I recommend!

We dive this morning with them and they have a great team! The owner is so kind and take the time to arrange you. I recommend this place if you want to do your first/open water/advanced, this place is perfect for you. Testimony from a former employee who worked there and who also passed my diving license thereMy experience at this Bali Fab Scam dive center was disastrous on every level. Here are the main problems encountered:1. Blatant racism:The director of the center openly makes racist remarks, particularly towards people of color. These remarks were made in front of other customers, creating a climate of discomfort and intolerance that is unacceptable in such a setting.2. Scam and dishonesty:I was defrauded when obtaining my diving license. The manager charged me much more than the normal rate, with completely inconsistent explanations. Several other customers were also victims of these questionable practices.3. Unsanitary accommodation conditions:The dormitories are infested with ants and the humidity is unbearable. The rooms are not maintained, and the infrastructure is dilapidated. It is an environment totally unsuitable for a pleasant stay.4. Infrastructure and dangerous equipment:The center's buildings are in poor condition and do not meet any safety standards. Diving equipment is obsolete and dangerous:• The BCDs deflate after five minutes.• The suits are torn.• The boots are unusable.These conditions endanger the safety of divers.5. Exploitation of local employees:Local staff are treated unacceptable, exploited without regard to working conditions. This creates a toxic and oppressive work atmosphere.6. Threats and intimidation:After attempting to share my negative experience via a review, I was immediately faced with direct threats from the center director. He demanded that I withdraw my opinion under penalty of reprisals. This intimidation proves a deliberate desire to hide the establishment’s questionable and dishonest practices. Not only does this prevent future customers from being informed of the true conditions, but it also highlights a climate of control and psychological abuse. Any attempt at transparency or criticism is quickly stifled, reinforcing the toxic and malicious character of the center.Thanks anyway to Léo and Sistha and Gede who were very good instructors despite the toxic management

My experience at this dive center was extremely disappointing. The manager not only pushed excessively hard to sell extra dives, but also demonstrated unacceptable behavior by entering the women's dorms without asking permission. This total lack of respect for the privacy of clients, combined with his condescending attitude when his proposals were refused, made my stay very uncomfortable. In addition, the dormitories were of poor quality, poorly maintained and far from the expected standards.
