Nice and clean bungalows with a partly outside bathroom. The bathroom was still protected by insects and enclosed by walls. It's a little outside the village and there is almost no traffic on the road. You can hear the sounds of nature very well.

We had a very good time, a place surrounded by nature and silence, without many pretensions but with everything you need.The restaurant is very simple and to be honest in some ways I found it better than in other places, especially for a Balinese dessert that we couldn't find anywhere else, which was amazing.Family run, at the market the lady handcrafts the famous sarongs,The people who run this property are really friendly.The cottages are new, clean, simple and comfortable.I recommend it for those who love nature and relaxation.

New spacious nicely decorated bungalows in a lovely area just south of the village centre. Comfortable bed, nice semi outdoor bathroom and lovely staff and owners who can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable. We highly recommend staying here. Gong Wi's location in Sidemen is a treat for the eyes...best to rent a scooter and see it for yourselves..traffic away from the centre is pretty calm and there are restaurants nearby that are walkable.

Beautiful rooms with friendly staff. Shower is the best I have had in a long time!! Room is modern but Baliesc and seriously comfy beds. Love the pebbles on the shower floor

Very nice room!A little far from the center. And unfortunately, when we asked them for a taxi service, the prices were exorbitant even though it was a 20 minute journey and they left us without helping us. Too bad!

Fantastic homestay! We felt really comfortable. The family is super nice and takes care of everything. Nicely furnished room and open bathroom. Very comfortable bed with mosquito net. There is free water and plenty of good Bali coffee. The location is a bit out of the way in the middle of rice fields, so you also come across one or two animals (geckos, lizards...) but that didn't bother us. On the contrary: we really enjoyed the peace and authenticity here. The room is made hygienically clean every day. Absolute recommendation!

Outstanding accommodation that was convincing in every respect!! We were very sad when we left.The cleanliness cannot be beaten, everything was sparkling clean as you would expect from good European hotels. The bungalows are also like new!We had only bad accommodations in Indonesia before and after, the bathrooms were shabby, it was very dirty everywhere and there was mold. At the Gong wi homestay it is exactly the opposite, it is cleaner than our home and I attach great importance to cleanliness.The service here is great, we were always warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable. We also rented a scooter, it was in top condition and the helmets were like new and would have protected us in a fall.The cooking course is also highly recommended, it took a lot of time and we cooked great dishes.In general, we didn't miss anything and we recommend everyone to pay a visit to the homestay and enjoy the peace and quiet in the rice fields.

Just like in the pictures! Booked 3 nights and was more than satisfied. The staff, the landlady and the chef, with whom we also booked a cooking class, were more than friendly and welcoming.The facility was very well maintained, which was also reflected in the room. The bathroom was the cleanest on our 3 week Bali trip and beautifully decorated with the stones on the floor in the shower.Since the accommodation is being evaluated and not the surroundings, a quick word about it.Here you can see how the locals really live. Very interesting. What is a disadvantage is that you have to drive a bit to go on any excursions. But since you can rent a scooter at the property for 75K per day, this isn't a problem. The next day we were even allowed to use the scooter for 1 hour to go out for something to eat and pick up our laundry from the laundry service.We were more than satisfied and can more than recommend this accommodation.

This is a wonderful homestay and Warung! It’s clean and cozy in beautiful and quiet nature, owned by a lovely family.
We can highly recommend eating in their Warung, we think it‘s the best food in Sidemen! We had a whole vegan menu and are still dreaming about the delicious food. 🌿
