We had dinner at Ganesha Lodge.Great atmosphere and delicious food.

Small complex with 12 rooms, 4 of which are bungalow style.A very beautiful garden and a pool form the center of the complex. The adjacent restaurant is always busy and can cover all meals of the day. The bungalows are the standard rooms and these are outdated and shabby. There are already significant deficiencies in the rooms, which the photos prove. We wouldn't book there again because the owner acts up and bullies the employees and also uses an impossible tone towards the guests. We were shouted at and yelled at by her ourselves. It's a shame we left our money there. There are 2 larger rooms and 2 smaller ones in the middle, these can also be used as family rooms. The other rooms are new, large and comfortably furnished and well equipped.The staff are friendly and helpful and try to make everything possible. We needed a transfer to the airport and 5 minutes later everything was booked. The massages offered are not that great.We had made an appointment and the women simply rescheduled the appointment. We then canceled all appointments and were very happy when we found out that they weren't going to be that great either! We definitely won't be coming back!

Random stop that gets it right.Good restaurant, probably a French one down there, shallot steak, bourguignon, but that's not where my choice ended up. Quality Indonesian cuisine, homemade ice cream and very beautiful dishes.

Hotel with rooms surrounded by a lush landscape and around a pleasant swimming pool.Unfortunately our room overlooked the technical room of the swimming pool, spoiling the view on the one hand and noisy on the other, even at night.As for the staff, we had a 7:30 a.m. departure the next day and we asked if it was possible to have breakfast at 7 a.m. We were told no, more like 7:10 a.m. (it felt like we were at the airport). They started serving us at 7:20 a.m. and at 7:35 a.m. they chased us to the taxi with boxes of fruit which we refused because we were already late.To finish. The owner who comes to breakfast with her dog, we were alone waiting for breakfast. Not a look or a hello. It was certainly not his day or not his calling to run a hotel.We were supposed to go to Gili and come back to Candi Dasa, but we will go elsewhere especially than the Aquaria, where we had dinner the day before, it is a high standard, with an infinity pool on the edge of the ocean, and have practically equivalent prices for the same period.

I spent a whole week in this hotel in Candidasa and the truth is that I couldn't have been in a better place, the quality-price ratio is fantastic, all the staff making great efforts to communicate with me and my English is excellent.All of them were exceptional, but I would highlight Komang, an employee who on the first day, through Patricia, the owner of the center where I dived, hired her to take me by motorcycle to Virgin Beach and at that time it was time for the cremations and this girl asked me if He was interested in seeing these ceremonies and of course I said yes.But first I had to make sure that people wouldn't mind if I photographed them and Komang told me absolutely not that people wouldn't mind. Then Komang took me to her house, introduced me to her husband, her in-laws and her children and put the Sarong on me, the typical garment of Bali and essential out of respect to be able to participate in people's cremations-prayers. In short, it was a fantastic day and I want to highlight the kindness of the “friendly people” and especially Komang's initiative to introduce me to their culture.
