A very good place to stay in Amed. Large, clean rooms and very comfortable beds. As an important note, there is a lot of noise from roosters crowing, so it can be annoying at dawn. The service is excellent as well as the breakfast, very complete and everything delicious. The pool area is wonderful to relax. Without a doubt I will repeat, since I come often.

Can't recommend, you can find better for much less nearby. Here are issues I experienced and you need to consider:1. On Agoda* it was listed as a "4.5-star" property. But in reality it is less than or the same quality as nearby 2-star properties I have stayed at previously (*it's 3-star on Google).2. Also on Agoda, it shows " Entire bungalow"; when i got there I was told I have a "Suite"; but then it turned out a suite is just a normal single-room. Apparently all rooms are suites, there are no bunglows.3. Air-con was faulty, didn't cool the room, so it was too hot and hard to sleep.4. Included breakfast was atrocious; I had "Omelete + bread" - lettuce and carrot omelet with a slice of heated white bread.5. The room had a tiny TV and cable w/ 5-6 channels; ok , I wasn't there to watch; but I can argue this is symbolic of the quality of the room (today many basic hotels in Bali offer Smart TVs and/or int'l channels - certainly "4.5-star" resorts do).5. None of the patio furniture had cushions, was all uncomfortable.6. I paid 875,000/night. But I paid 300,000 for a better stand- alone bungalow nearby recently (Alur Guesthouse); this place was very overpriced.7. When discussing issues like the air-con with staff, my local friend was told "write a poor review, it's the only way the owner will believe the issue and one day take action". So looks like the owner doesn't care about quality.8. There is a squatter farm next door with an exceptionally loud gaggle of geese.Highlights: the pool and rooftop are the only differentiators here from 2-star places in Amed. Why did I book: I thought I would go a bit upscale on this trip, saw this place is promoted by Agoda as 4.5-stars w/ decent reviews, figured it must be an exceptional luxury boutique hotel in Amed....Believe me, it is not (take a look at the low ratings and comments on Agoda - people are saying similar to what I am saying).I am not a Karen: I have made 100+ bookings on Agoda in the past 2 years and have left very few poor reviews - I only do so only when I it is absolutely necessary.

Why is the on-site payment so bad? Just use Agoda~The interior landscaping and interior of the accommodation are really nice. The room is spacious tooThere is even a jacuzzi in the bathroom and shower. The perfect sea view is the superior sea view. The end

The hotel is OK. The room was simple with few sockets, the bathroom smelled a bit. Breakfast is really very basic, there are effectively 4 variations: egg or a fruit plate. The most negative thing are the beach vendors who try to sell you something while you're lying by the pool. The ladies who want to sell their massages in the hotel are also very pushy.Big plus point: once you have overcome the stony beach, there is a beautiful reef just a few meters away.
