The public areas are so beautiful! It's very close to the sea, just a few steps away. You can still hear the sound of the waves in the room at night. The restaurant is very delicious, especially the fried food, and the juice is also delicious🥰🥰It is a very cozy first place.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beachfront property! The host was very friendly and welcoming, and the location was simply stunning - right in front of the beach! The pool was also a great bonus, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. However, there was one issue that affected our comfort: the water from the shower in the bathroom floor was not draining completely, which kept the bathroom always very wet and mouldy. This was a bit unpleasant, but I think it could be an easy fix with a proper drainage solution.Despite this, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning. With a few tweaks, including addressing the drainage issue, this place could be truly exceptional!

Checkin should be open to 21:00. We arrived at 20:00 and the staff allready went home.Room was falling appart (see pictures). We even had a cockroach in our pillow sheet yuck.. Bathroom gets awefully wet when it is raining. Location is perfect, and pool area was ok.

Not a pleasant experience with Bahari. We were asked twice if we were leaving tomorrow? The next day a woman asked, are you going away today? Sorry folks, this doesn't feel good for us. Check your booking and you will know. We have 6 years of 2-month trekking experience through Indonesia. It is very noisy/restless. Loud music at the neighbors, and Amed has become a second Kuta for us. There is no longer any mention of a sleepy fishing village that it was in the past and is still listed on the internet. Snorkeling remains beautiful, but the entrance to the sea ribbon development is lousy. Be sure to bring water shoes. We always carry them, but even then it is still a challenge to get into the sea. Next years we will skip Amed completely, we are looking for quiet/authentic places in Bali. There are fewer and fewer of them. Well in Tembok. We will also go to Flores, where it is also authentic. Hope there are places left in Indonesia. We will have to travel further and further. Tip:"Arborek" - Papua is great but requires a lot of travel time.
