Fantastic experience in the sea view cottage. From the warm welcome, to the atmosphere of the place, the discovery of the cottage and the splendid sea view, to finish with the restaurant everything is perfect.I regret that I could only stay one night, the place is fantastic. The beach is quite nice and not very busy, a little rough but ideal for swimming. Otherwise the swimming pool option is also very pleasant with its deck chairs!

Old hotel. The only positive thing about this hotel was the staff in my opinion.Maybe the beachfront rooms are better. But for the price; what can ya expect.

I highly recommend this hotel. The cottages are located practically right on the beach with a calm ocean. Compared to other parts of the island, the waves here are relatively small, and the water is clean and warm. Additionally, there is a pool with a view of the ocean available for use. The conditions in the cottages are decent, everything is clean, and there is nothing to complain about. The food in the restaurant is excellent, fresh, and of high quality. However, what touched us the most were the people—the entire staff is incredibly friendly. They were very eager to talk with us, sharing stories about the island, local customs, and everyday life. My wife and I have traveled to many places around the world, but we have never formed such a warm and close relationship with the staff as we did at Utama Villas. We will remember our stay for the rest of our lives! We extend our heartfelt thanks and wish the hotel continued success and constant occupancy.

So the place is a little older. A little smaller. A little quieter. These are all good things for me. Reminds me of old school Bali in a really good way. The water pump is a bit loud. The hot water runs out after one hot shower, but this is an awesome place to stay in Bali. Everyone is friendly , helpful and genuine. Nice pool overlooking the ocean. Beautiful views and a nice beach. The restaurant has good food too. Numerous other restaurants a short walk away. I mean short. Plenty on this street to keep you busy for a week and they are all good. Great diving here. Saw 6 Mola Molas in one day. Love it here. Can’t wait to come back.

Overall this is a fabulous villa/room. Great service and superb location although a bit of a walk to Candidasa town, local taxi around Rp $50k. The pool and ocean are at your doorstep. There are Warungs, a day spa and groceries within a 2-minute walk.
