I booked this Bamboo house to spend my birthday with my partner in a quiet place away from the tourist areas.Positive points:The house is beautiful and Putu, the owner, with his family built it from the beginning and I think it's amazing what they did.Putu is friendly and helped us get transportation to go to the places we wanted to go.The breakfast is simple but delicious and there is a possibility to eat in the bamboo house, lunch or dinner, because the Putu's wife cooks very well and they charge you a fair price (40,000 rupees per dish). You have a fridge in the house to keep your drinks cold and also you have hot water in the shower. At night it cools down so you don't need air conditioning and the temperature is good. The Wifi works very well.Points to improve or to know before decide to go:We were looking for a bamboo house that was isolated in the middle of the jungle to be quiet and relax and we found that it's next to the owners' house and on the other side they are building another bamboo house, so from 9-10 in the morning you start to hear noise of construction throughout the day until 4-5 in the afternoon and this is every day. It rained for a few days and we couldn't do much and we would have loved to relax but it was impossible with so much noise.I also chose this house for my birthday because of the bathtub it has and it turns out that it's a little uncomfortable to use it because you have a house very close to you and people working on the other side and the bathtub is outdoors although it has shower curtains on both sides but I think it is even worse because you feel like locked inside and it's not enjoyable.Putu also rents other accommodations in his house and there are some other tourists around who must be curious about the bamboo house and want to take pictures (it's beautiful, I understand that) but they entered through the door and walked over the bridge to get to the house and we felt with zero privacy which I think is just what you are looking for when you rent something special like this...The room is super humid and all our things (even the ones inside the suitcases) were too humid. The room is not completely closed by the roof on the sides, and if you turn on the light at night many bugs enter although the bed has a mosquito net for that. Also, being in a very uncrowded area the transport to move around is quite expensive although to return to the house you can always try your luck with online applications but to leave it's much more complicated. And to finish with this review, the house is beautiful but I think I would have liked to know these things before going so I could decide if it was what I wanted for my birthday or not.Putu and his family were very friendly and very kind with us during our stay and speak very good English even the kids.

An original experience, and that’s what we were looking for.Good points:A house built entirely of bamboo, totally isolated in the middle of the jungle. The owner explains everything to you and recommends local activities to do with his neighbors. He also finds you a driver to spend the day in the eastern rice fields, Sidemen.Authentic experience!Points to improveImprove the quality of the breakfast served and the dishes usedTowels and shower gel, shampoo were missing. We are less independent since no grap possible and no restaurant nearby, but this has already been described so no surprise. The place is really humid, all of our clothes were almost wet at the end of our stay.

We booked this bamboo cabin without really knowing where it was..., we stayed in a cabin made entirely of bamboo for 3 people. It is very well built and has all the comforts, bathroom, shower, refrigerator with drinks and Wi-Fi.It is located in the middle of the jungle and you can hear all kinds of animals at night, but in the morning a pack of crazy roosters will wake you up at 5am every day.The hosts are very friendly, the Balinese breakfast is correct and with cut fruit, you can also order dinner if you want in the cabin.
