Beautiful rooms with views into greenery and away from the busy road. Very clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A little far from the beaches, but doable with a scooter.

Very-very basic hotel|The hotel, the room and the facilities have the basics and sometimes not even that: plugs that do not work, drawers that do not open. …

It is a peaceful neighborhood with views of rice fields, mountains, and stars, but it is not quiet due to the sounds of insects chirping, the sound of work in the rice fields, the sound of cars passing, the sound of chickens crowing, and the sounds of female guests staying on the upper floors laughing and chatting. But I didn't mind these sounds because they weren't artificial and didn't bother me much.I wasn't used to opening and closing the door sideways, and locking and opening the door by turning the key to lock and open the door, so it made a little noise. The Western girl who stayed in the room next door came to my room and asked me to close the door quietly, saying it was noisy. 😅There are various sounds here, so if you are sensitive to sound, you should reconsider staying here.I recommend this place to anyone who is not sensitive!

D’sawah is a lovely place with a pretty view. The rooms are very large, comfortable and modern and the food at the warung was always delicious and healthy, with many vegan options- we ate there many times. It’s walking distance from many restaurants but I’d recommend renting a scooter as Amed is very hot.

We prepared a delicious lunch together with Susie. Finally we have a recipe to make delicious tempeh and satay ayam at home. We liked it a lot! Thank you😄

Fantastic morning spent learning about and preparing Balinese food. Suzie was very flexible in scheduling, and in letting us decide what we'd like to prepare. Learned how to steam chicken in banana leaf, and make sambals using a copek (pronounced "choppie") which I found in Samur and bought home after the trip. Lovely time, very reasonable, and she sends the recipes to you afterwards.
