I have been visiting this place since 2019 and come to this wonderful bungalow every year. Price-performance ratio is great. I think the direct location by the sea (you look directly at the ocean from your bed when you wake up) is brilliant. The owner Putu, who I now call my friend, takes care of all matters. The accommodation has AC, small refrigerator, large bed with mosquito net, table and chairs and lounger on the terrace. Highly recommended for a no-frills stay. From around 5 o'clock the chickens and dogs make a bit of noise, but that doesn't bother me. The fishermen come back from the sea between 7 and 8 a.m. and I enjoy the hustle and bustle with my morning coffee. Here you have a unique insight into the daily routine of the locals who live and work right next door. So if you want to immerse yourself in the Balinese culture and the everyday life of the locals, this is the right place for you. Restaurants with western and local specialties, supermarket, ATM, diving center, scooter rental, etc. all within walking distance. Don't forget the flashlight and earplugs are recommended for light sleepers. The sea can also be very loud at times. For snorkelers: a reef is about 200m away within walking distance. With a bit of luck you can also see sea turtles there.

In sorry but i was so disappointed. I read all the good stuff here but really, I haven’t slept in 4 night because of the animal’s screaming outside the door. Rooster was screaming 24/7, even on the NIGHT!We could not sleep at all. Don’t book this stay I regret it so much and I wish I need about this birds screaming.I have headick.

Place right on the beach. If you looking for the local experience definitely choose this place. You will stay on the beach between local people, you can watch sunsets on black beach with volcano view.Host is really friendly and arrange everything you need. Room is clean, with wifi, water and air condition.

Very pleasant stay at Putu's place for 5 nights. The room is cozy, furnished with bed, warderobe, fridge, drinking water tank, table, basic cutlery, aircon. The bathroom with an open roof window and hanging long plant looks really cool. Overall the place is clean, good distance from main street and directly on the beach, 20m away from jumping into the sea. We also visited several warungs and restaurants and can recommend GHasari that is just opposite the main street (good price, local, pleasant). The entrance to Putu's Homestay is from the sandy beach. You can enjoy the view from the terace. Putu himself is very friendly and helpful man, able to manage transport and answer your questions. Fully recommend.

I strongly advise against it!!!One big strong point (your room would be 3 MT from the sea) for people who are not light sleepers (because waking up at 6 a.m. by the hull and all night the dogs are their battle too)For my three-day stay I had to request wifi 6 times because it didn't work. I wanted to take a shower and it didn't work. Payment is only made in cash, of course, not even sorry for the inconvenience.The room is infested with mold.You have a photo with a pretty plate of fruit 😂😂😂

We came for 3 days, stayed for 2 weeks. The room has everything you need - refrigerator, water cooler, air conditioning, wardrobe, mosquito net. Bungalow right on the beach, direct sea view and beach access. A couple of hundred meters to the right there is an excellent reef for snorkeling from the shore; if you wish, you can swim to Dzhemeluk Bay. Nearby there is a supermarket with a relatively good selection of food and alcohol, several cafes and warungs, and fruit shops. The only thing that could be a problem is the noise from the parking fishing boats in the mornings from about 7 to 7-30 - but since we got up early, it did not cause us any inconvenience.

Wow, we had a wonderful stay in this accommodation, so we extended it another week. The location is perfect right on the beach, yes the fishermen are there in the morning, which didn't bother me, you can explore Amed on foot, there are enough warungs and supermarkets nearby. I will definitely come back. Many thanks also to Putu, who made our stay possible.
