Sunhouse is a very nice place. It is centrally located in the south of the Island. We slept here for 4 nights. Upon arrival, a motorcycle was immediately ready that you could rent for 150k per day. Very chill👌Please note that there is a difference between the apartments. If you choose the more expensive one, you also have the larger swimming pool and the rooms are much more spacious. We requested an upgrade after 3 nights and the last day/night was much better!

Oasis in Bukit!We come back here every trip to Bali. Causes:1) a comfortable, secluded place (with cafes, shops and all infrastructure nearby)2) nice Balinese interior (if you don’t like “grandmother’s” renovation from 15 years ago3) perfect cleanliness (room, area, pool)4) friendly staff, always ready to help5) gorgeous view (the hotel is located on a mountain, so you will see gorgeous sunsets from the pool and common area)Definitely recommend!

Great place to stay. We were a group of 8 people and rented all the villas on the upper level (and the entire pool was ours) and some on the lower level. Great staff. Yoga room. Cool cafe downstairs with a great menu and good prices. Please note that there are steps and it may not be comfortable for everyone, but we liked it and got into better shape)))

Best experience in my life! The villa is beautiful, amazing oceanview, pleasant balinease interior; the rooms are spacious, well equipped, comfortable mattresses and pillows; excellent cleaning; spacious swimming pool with clean water.

😃The sunset view is amazing.Terrace is super nice.The staff is very friendly.😔Property urgently needs renovation. Mold in the bathroom. Paint falls off the walls in the room and bathroom. Towels are very old. They are gray, not white. Towels are changed every 3 days, not every day. Stains on the pillows and bed sheets. Construction is next door. It starts at 7am and goes on till 10-11pm. Very annoying.We booked the place for 5 days but moved out after 2.-----This place does not cost the money asked for it.

All the credits for recommendation - to Ptushkin, it worked.
Marvelous view from the top rooms, worth each step of climbing so high. Two best in area cafes close to property. Construction happening near by does not help, indeed, but its ok if you don’t spend the full day sitting inside.

The hotel is a bit remote, but that's a good thing. The garden rooms were quite okay for 4 nights.Unfortunately, people were working very loudly next door early in the morning until late at night because a new hotel was being built there.The staff was very courteous and helpful. You can get a scooter directly at the hotel.

Loved the place! The stairs were quite steep — but then again it gave us spectacular view from the room. But it was too much for my Dad (he’s almost 70 hehe) so on the 3rd night we moved down to another room, but still it was lovely and beautiful. Breakfast is e x c e l l e n t 👌🏼

I'm staying in Sunhouse since 2016. All the time I'm come here I feel like home.The personal is friendly and very helpful.The view is stunning.Ghe bed is over comfortable, I sleep there like a baby.Definitely 1 of my favorite place.Thank you.

Unfortunately this resort fails to fulfill its major function which is to provide comfortable and calm environment for rest and relaxation. Spent 1 night on the weekend on 10th of December 2022. I booked it cause I was looking for a quiet, cosy and serene place to have rest between parties. My night sleep was brutally violated with the construction noise right next door and vibration of jackhammer at 8 am on Sunday (!!). It was so loud I couldn’t sleep even with my earplugs on! You literally cannot relax there. Manager was nice but helpless. my complaint on instagram was simply ignored. I understand that it’s a tough situation for owner which had to deal with construction ongoing nearby 7 days per week but I at the same time I consider it unfair to hide this fact from the guests who pay the full price and expect decent conditions for their stay. You could have inform people and give them a choice to prefer another place, reduce the price or even close up the venue for renovation which is for sure needed as as resort looks quite grungy and used-up
