Alam Bulan is nothing short of paradise! If you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to rent this villa for your time in Bali – DO IT!!! Everything about our experience there was perfection, far beyond our hopes and expectations.The villa itself is simply stunning. Spacious and airy, exquisitely furnished and decorated, comfortable and so very welcoming. It was a pure delight to wake up to such beauty in the morning, and to enjoy delicious cups of coffee while we lounged in front of the infinity pool with its gorgeous and lush tropical backdrop, listening to the chorus of jungle sounds. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious every day. The bedrooms are gorgeous and comfortable, and the bathrooms are large, beautiful, and have everything you could need. It is exactly as it is pictured and described in the listings, except that the reality is even more welcoming, luxurious, beautiful, and comfortable than pictures can convey.The real treasure of Alam Bulan, however, are the people who staff it. They greet and welcome you so warmly you immediately feel at home. Komang, the house manager, also serves as the driver and guide. We relied on him completely to plan our 5 day stay and it was amazing. Komang is deeply and intimately knowledgeable about the culture, traditions, art, and spirituality of the island and our trip was made by so much richer by how generously he shared his love for Bali with us. Komang seamlessly planned our days around our interests and his recommendations were spot-on. Our trip would have been a very different experience without his guidance and we are so grateful we made the decision to stay at Alam Bulan. Ketoot, the hostess at Alam Bulan, is warm, delightful, and a pure pleasure to interact with. She created the most beautiful breakfasts for us each day and made sure all our needs were met with care and generosity of spirit. Alam Bulan also made sure there was a night guard to keep us extra safe and additional staff to maintain the beautiful gardens and property. We were sad to leave them all – everyone was so kind and welcoming to us, they felt like dear friends.My only hesitation in writing this review is that I may have failed to convey what an incredible experience our time at the villa was. It is truly everything one could hope for in an island paradise stay.

Alam Bulan Villa exceeded absolutely every possible expectation. Beautiful, welcoming, comfortable. Our stay there filled our senses with a perfect balance of beauty, pampering, and new experiences.The villa is stunningly beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous jungle scenery. The staff was beyond amazing, quietly working to keep the villa lovely and clean. They were beyond friendly and welcoming, and we felt like we were leaving dear friends by the end of the week.PLUS, they MADE our whole stay the most amazing experience we could have asked for.The house manager picked us up at the airport - and we were on our way to a perfect week in paradise! We began every morning with a beautiful breakfast prepared by Ketoot - fresh fruits, eggs, toast, and additional tasty sides. Amazing! Then, we were off with Komang (the house manager/driver, who is also a certified tour guide) to explore the island. We provided a list of the things we'd like to see, and Komang designed a week that included all our list and much, much more. We explored so much of the island, visited beautiful temples, enjoyed an oceanside sunset, saw the monkey forest, ... well, you get the idea. He offered us a great balance of tourist and off-the-beaten-track experiences that filled our taste for adventure, beauty, culture, spiritual inspiration and relaxation.Oh! Back to the villa - the open-air common area was very comfortable and inviting, filled with the sights and sounds of the jungle. The pool was perfection. And there was also an indoor 'family room' where you could relax with a book or watch TV. Every bedroom had its own bathroom - and all the bedrooms and bathrooms were gorgeous. The beds were comfortable and offered the best nights' sleep. The yoga room was a bonus!I whole-heartedly recommend Alam Bulan as the most amazing, welcoming, and wonderful place to stay.

Alam Bulan was the first place we stayed in Bali. What a beautiful, peaceful place this was. The staff at Alam Bulan was super friendly and accomodating.They made us feel like family. Komang and the entire staff were simply amazing. They helped us experience the local culture and shared with us in unique ways.If you're looking for a truly exceptional experience, this is it! If I could rate 10 stars I would.

Alam Bulan was truly magical. This villa was gorgeous and exactly as described and pictured on the site. From the moment I started communication with the manager Komang, he made each step so smooth. He planned an amazing itinerary for us and showed us the real Bali. The entire staff at the villa was top of the line, made us feel special the entire week we were at the villa. I enjoyed the peaceful and serene location, surrounded by beautiful nature and relaxing sounds. The decor and touches throughout the villa also made it feel like we were in Bali and not in a commercialized property for tourism. My only regret for the entire trip was we didn't stay longer at this villa, as nothing else on our trip compared to the level of service and comfort at Alam Bulan. Thank you to the staff at Alam Bulan, you made our week so special. If you are having doubts on booking this villa, wipe them away and book it now! Top villa experience we've ever had.
