We had bed bugs... There were lots and lots of them and they couldn't be overlooked, so we assume the problem must have existed for a long time. We then left the accommodation in the middle of the night.We're really sorry for the Green Papaya House because the staff was very friendly and helpful. We couldn't reach anyone that night, but we got all the money refunded the next day and, according to the owner, the problem was addressed immediately.

They are a charming family and they are always making sure that you are comfortable and have all the possible services. The pool is great, the bed super comfortable and the breakfast very delicious. It is also 15 minutes from Ubud, which is a plus, away from the chaos and noise. I felt at home, I would return without hesitation

We stayed here for 8 nights and everything was great. The pool was clean, the rooms were cleaned every day and the staff was attentive and very friendly. We had a great chat with the hotel owner Dewi and he took very good care of us 🤩 The hotel also offers motorbike rental services at affordable prices.

It is a super comfortable place, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, the customer service is very good. You can rent a scooter there and the location is good since it is 15 minutes from the center of Ubud, so you have several places nearby without being in the chaos

A great stay here at Green Papaya.Comfy large rooms and bed.Working warm shower. Breakfast is ok.A good pool area with many loungers.Motorcycle rental (70k) a day which is needed as it's around 20 minutes from Ubud.

Is there a more perfect place at this price... I'm very sensitive to bedding and pillows, but the mattress is really nice and the bedding is clean. Maybe it's because I felt like I was kicked out of a really dirty hotel before, but... I was so grateful to the staff who always smiled kindly, especially President Aguda! A little shy, but so very kind! He was very fluent in Korean, so I asked and found out that he was going to a Korean language school. Soup was suddenly filling up...👍 However, the downside is that it is a bit far from the center, so I think it would be a good place to stay for those who can ride a motorcycle.Maybe I felt better about this accommodation because I had a bad experience at my previous accommodation. They say there is a small waterfall nearby, and the owner, Aguda...🥹! Thank you so much and see you again. I miss you!🥹🩷
