I stayed in this beautiful quiet hotel for two nights. The peace and the view here are spectacular! Definitely a place to get away from the hordes of tourists and sellers of what is Bali now a days, and find some quiet time. The staff are very kind and polite…This hotel is labeled as a natural and ecological getawayHowever, I was deeply saddened and troubled by a very lonely and neglected little animal, they have caged (prisoner) in the property - for all the guests to see - a small porcupine or hedgehog… looks so sad and lonely 💔😓I came very close to opening and releasing the poor thing, but out of respect for the hotel owners I didn’t. But I will leave a negative review and would not come back for that lone reason. There are ants and cocoroaches in the days old dog food that has been provided. The animal looks deeply depressed 😔

Absolutely amazing place. It's very remote, so it'll take some time tonget there, but the view is awesome. It's a quiet place, perfect for escaping the bustling life of the main tourist sites. The included breakfast was awesome and the dinner is reasonably priced and very delicious as well!

Fabulous experience in the middle of the Karangasem rice field in a small two-story cabin. The breathtaking view, I would even say that after this passage, it is difficult to find a more beautiful view of Bali than this...The food is excellent and the staff very welcoming. Special mention for the beef, chicken Basil and banana splits!Suksma!

What an enchanting place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights spent at Planet Biru. The location is perfect for those who want to get off the beaten path and spend time in a more remote area. The views of the rice fields below, mountain across, and neighboring islands in a deep blue sea are truly magnificent. The atmosphere is serene and relaxing - it’s a perfect place to unplug and unwind. The villa itself is a lovely unique structure with three separate floors. At the top is a small room with a large bed (which can overlook the room below if you open the curtains) with the best views for sunrise. The main entrance leads to the middle floor which has a super comfortable king bed (this is the bed we stayed in), a balcony, shelves, a comfy chair, etc). And the bottom floor is the outdoor living room with the pool, where we spent time reading books, having amazing meals, and relaxing. The toilet is also down here, along with a fully equipped kitchen - we were able to cook a meal here easily! That being said we enjoyed all our meals that we ordered here - the rendang and vegan tikka masala were highlights, while the breakfasts were hearty and fresh! We stayed here as a couple but would definitely recommend this to families with older kids - they would probably enjoy climbing up to the upstairs room and downstairs. We felt like we were really living in a tree house and it was an adventure! The villa gets the morning light but the living room is situated such that it is always in shade. There’s often a gentle breeze coming through. The sun goes behind the mountain in the afternoon meaning that any heat from the day cools off fairly quickly as well. We found that the climate was very pleasant. Also, as someone who hates mosquitos I was worried about them getting into the villa but we never had a problem with that, which was a pleasant surprise. Mosquito repellent is provided if needed.

The place is so special. I cannot express how beautiful it was here (and the view). We sat and watched the rice paddy workers, the birds, the ocean, the mountains…for hours. Like watching a David Attenborough show in real life. This place is very secluded and about 20 minutes away from any town, but that’s what made it so special. If you’re coming here, be in the mindset to be away from it all for a few days. There are no stores within reasonable walking distance (but the resort has your necessities). Come with books, movies, and the desire to unplug. The food provided and available was great. It’s essentially ‘room service’ because their restaurant is under construction, to be finished in a few months. If you want to go into town or do any activities, you’ll need a taxi (which the hotel will arrange) but you’d really want your own scooter as the roads leading here really are much better for bikes.I’d recommend staying here for a few days but also rent a place close to the activities that interest you instead of driving so far each day to get to things.Otherwise, everything was great here. And as others have said, the other villas are close to you, but there are curtains and shades to keep privacy. Only downside was our bathroom was not in the bungalow, we had to go down and outside to use the toilet. We walked down to the rice paddy’s and it was amazing to watch the community work and go back and forth between the fields and their homes. The farmers homes are just inside the tree line, when you walk down to the rice paddy’s, stay to the right once out of the trees and you’ll see all the homes.

We discovered the accommodation by chance and were skeptical at first due to the location. But it was definitely the best accommodation we had in Bali. The view is wonderful and the nature around it is a dream. The apartment is very nice and clean.Since it is very far out, we ate at the property on both evenings and it was also some of the best food we had on our vacation. The breakfast is also sufficient and delicious. We would also like to say a big thank you to the employees. They were very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

Amazing experience at planet Biru. The sunrise view view from the bed was fantastic, the host always made sure that we had everything we needed. We also really enjoyed the walk down to the rice fields empty of tourists which was refreshing after ubudThe path to the villa can be tricky for people that are not comfortable with a scooter. But otherwise the way there is beautifulWould definitely recommend a stay there :)

The location of Planet Biru is simply breathtaking, situated on the slope of a hill overlooking a valley with rice fields. In the distance you can see lush jungle pads and behind that the sea. The road to the location is rocky and bumpy, but it’s worth the trouble. Once you arrive at the location you’ll immediately be immersed in nature with a wooden house on poles with the living room situated underneath the bedrooms. Once you’ve entered the master bedroom you have an even more majestic view from the balcony. The staff is friendly and helpful. The fauna is beautiful with loads of butterflies and birds who have their own quarters located behind the last house. When the sun is down and you’re quiet you’ll notice lizards and geckos. And make sure to hire a scooter (even though the traffic looks nerve wrecking they’ll pay attention) to check out the rice fields and jungle, it’ll be worthwhile!
