The place is so special. I cannot express how beautiful it was here (and the view). We sat and watched the rice paddy workers, the birds, the ocean, the mountains…for hours. Like watching a David Attenborough show in real life. This place is very secluded and about 20 minutes away from any town, but that’s what made it so special. If you’re coming here, be in the mindset to be away from it all for a few days. There are no stores within reasonable walking distance (but the resort has your necessities). Come with books, movies, and the desire to unplug. The food provided and available was great. It’s essentially ‘room service’ because their restaurant is under construction, to be finished in a few months. If you want to go into town or do any activities, you’ll need a taxi (which the hotel will arrange) but you’d really want your own scooter as the roads leading here really are much better for bikes.I’d recommend staying here for a few days but also rent a place close to the activities that interest you instead of driving so far each day to get to things.Otherwise, everything was great here. And as others have said, the other villas are close to you, but there are curtains and shades to keep privacy. Only downside was our bathroom was not in the bungalow, we had to go down and outside to use the toilet. We walked down to the rice paddy’s and it was amazing to watch the community work and go back and forth between the fields and their homes. The farmers homes are just inside the tree line, when you walk down to the rice paddy’s, stay to the right once out of the trees and you’ll see all the homes.
