We loved our stay here so much that we spent 8 days in the area. My partner and I were recovering from being sick and it was perfect that there was a warung 20 feet from our room with delicious food. This family took care of us and even better yet was the location and rooms. We’ve stayed at lots of places for this price and shown up where toilets are being taped together and etc. The best part yet… hot water! At this homestay everything is in great condition, and the owner has made sure each room has its own view of the ocean. We had a beautiful terrace where we could watch the sunrise each morning. Amed has become our favorite part of Bali and it is all thanks to this family.

We loved our stay in Amed! The family who runs the place is super kind and always up for a little chat. The breakfast is really good and you can choose between plenty of options. They also have a lot of tips for the surrounding and rent scooters for a good price.All the rooms are having an amazing view over the sea and we even had a little terrace with sun beds. The beds are comfy and you have everything you need there.We are looking forward to come back & for the pancakes!

Not a nice experience. But first to the positive: fantastic view of the sea. Thoughtful ambience (well-kept gardens), breakfast included, good tips for activities from the professional host. Now to the numerous negative experiences: We checked in and were looking forward to three days on site because of the beautiful visual impressions. However, we quickly discover many defects. Ant street, disgusting glass for brushing your teeth, screaming children especially at night, the socket is largely out (security?), the door frame is broken, there is no hairdryer, no blankets (just bed sheets and blankets) and leaky curtains (6:00 in the morning is the whole thing bright room). All these defects can be found in the appendix. We also initially had a factual discussion. Unfortunately the woman ignored us on the first day and insulted us the next day with insults in Balinese. So we didn't feel well afterwards. Overall, I can't recommend booking. I'm sure there are some accommodations that create a more comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. It's better to spend more money and avoid stress :).

A perfect accommodation if you want to vacation in Amed/Tulamben.The rooms have such a great view of the sunrise behind the sea. The breakfast is also okay, the owners are very friendly and the facilities and air conditioning are modern.

Rooms are tired and clearly lack attention. A long climb uphill and steep stairs.
Bathroom looks like it hasn't been maintained in ages.
No fridge, no kettle, no cups.
