I moved upmarket by choosing this resort near Tulamben.Certainly it is a budget but all the services are up to the prices.Superb resort, facing the sea,infinity pool, very beautiful villas, very well equipped and very clean.The staff is adorable, the meals are delicious.The dishes are prepared in a kitchen that is also very clean, the refrigerators and freezers appear new.The decoration of the dining room and the garden is done with taste and tact, it is truly magnificent.If you choose a beachfront villa, by simply opening the curtains, you can admire the magnificent sunrise from your bed, it's magical!Being a few meters from the beach, you will be lulled by the sound of the waves. For those who are light sleepers, bring earplugs for the night...The resort has an SSI diving center with its boat, allowing you to easily and quickly access the superb diving sites of Tulamben, obviously the famous USAT Liberty wreck, drop off, coral garden....I advise you to rent a scooter if you want to explore the surroundings or go to Amed to enjoy the musical evenings.Yours sincerelyJeans

Much late review but better than nothing! We stayed here for a few days in June. We had good experience overall. A bathtub & fridge inside could probably be an improvement for a hotel with this price.BEAUTIFUL SANCTUARYSituated by the beach, Scuba Seraya is simply one of the prettiest accommodations I’ve ever stayed. The garden is very beautifully arranged & taken care of. It’s a paradise. We could even see sunrise from our room. The whole area is very serene, quiet, peaceful. We could see Mount Agung on the other side & stars at night.We stayed in the most beautiful room, very spacious, pretty, clean. It’s very private & secluded. Sadly there’s no bathtub & small fridge, which I expected from a 3 star hotel with this price range.INCREDIBLE STAFFAll of the staff were very nice, welcoming, friendly, accommodating. They never failed to greet us & smile whenever we bumped into each other.Breakfast is only started at 7 AM (due to staff working hours too), whereas me & my sister had a morning dive & wanted to eat at 6 AM to make sure we have enough energy before the activity. One of the staff came up with a solution. She suggested that they make our breakfast the night before around 9 PM, so we could eat it the morning after whenever we want. She also said as the food would need to stay overnight, she suggested we had pancakes not omelette (in case the eggs go bad). We agreed right away! We were happy there’s a solution to our situation! They then made the breakfast, wrapped it in cling wrap to keep it in good condition for the morning after. Breakfast is quite basic though, not something incredibly special. But I appreciate they would actually go extra mile to accommodate us!DRINKING WATER PROVIDEDWe only had one bottle of drinking water for 2 people inside our room. But we could have it refilled whenever we finished it. It’s free-flow refill. We refilled it at the restaurant or sometimes the staff brought it to our room. They would even refill our own water bottle so we don’t need to go back & forth as often.Overall a nice stay but could be better! :)

The hotel is clean and tidy and has a diving section, not a training center and courses. A little far from the center and activities in Amed. The rooms do not have a refrigerator or TV, and after 9pm they are closed until the outside lights are on.

Stayed here for 4 days 3 nights, first impression was awesome, the location is close to the beach and of course you can always hear the sea water crashing, I haven't had time to try the food yet because I have to leave in the morning at 7 am while sometimes at 7 am it's still not ready or even if I have to order it seems to take a while , the room in general is quite clean and comfortable, it's just that there is no TV, and also a refrigerator, which is a shame for the price which is quite hefty.. Bathroom, typical villa in Bali where the bathroom at the back will be presented with an open space so sometimes it makes it a bit uncomfortable comfortable if you want to go to the KM at night, you are afraid there will be creeping animals because you will experience the arrival of GOCKS in the shower area... maybe it would be good even if it is open there is also a transparent barrier made, overall good, the moment you will never forget will be a very, very amazing sunrise...

The hotel looks very nice at first glance, unfortunately like most hotels in Bali, there are a lot of things that the locals just don't see. Damaged plaster, mold, dust, trenched walls. I would expect a refrigerator in the rooms in this price category. The stay here was pleasant, but the price does not quite match the quality.

The place exudes great serenity. The decoration of the common areas skillfully mixes Balinese style and contemporary comfort in a bright atmosphere.The rooms follow the “all white” concept but the furniture and decor are more economical than elegant. No TV or fridge. In some rooms the beds do not have mosquito nets, however all of them have their geckos!The bathroom is spacious. The paint matches reveal a recent, somewhat sloppy renovation.The swimming pool and surrounding furniture offer a magnificent setting facing the sea, with the sun rising in front. Fortunately because there is no real beach: black volcanic sand and pebbles like everywhere in Tulamben.Snorkeling benefits from this black sand bottom, bringing out the colors of the rare corals and numerous fish.The restaurant is rather expensive for the location and the quantities served: You can recognize the French touch here, particularly in the price of drinks!Nothing to complain about the service, attentive and smiling.Very isolated, transportation is highly recommended to see the surrounding areas.The place will appeal to travelers looking for calm and divers, the club seems very well equipped, but we did not use it this time. We had stayed here a few years ago before the renovation. I snorkeled in front of the hotel and found lots of subjects for macro photography.

Not a fan of resorts but this place is just magical! We were supposed to stay 5 days but prolonged it to 7, some of the days we were the only customers so we had the whole place for ourselves! Comparing it to other venues in Bali we stayed, this was the ultimate best, peaceful, with beautiful sunrises and morning swims. No problem with animals, the only thing there are geckos, room was clean and so was the pool and the whole area. The only downside was the food, it was not bad but I would say home cooked, fine for a few days but afterwards you want something different. Still, amazing place, and so cheap for what you get.

The most beautiful garden I have ever seen. Its beach is excellent, you can also snorkel. The food is delicious, although the portions could be bigger. You can rent a snooker, they organize the excursion we think of, they order a taxi. There is also laundry. The rooms are clean and pleasant.

Stayed here 3 days 2 nights. The best place for healing and finding peace. Feels comfortable like home. The hotel area & beach area are clean... also the staff at the restaurant are friendly & very kind.Surely, will be back.

The best resort in Tulambenthe staff and owner are very friendly and very helpful. Their rooms are very clean and comfortable.the garden and grass are very well looked after. the food in the restaurant is delicious. they have a diving course.Don't miss the sunrise in front of the sea and the sunset behind Mount Agung.For me, this is the best resort in Tulamben
