Our stay in the bamboo house was fantastic! Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and it truly felt like being in a movie. Although we expected to encounter mosquitoes and bugs given the open nature of the surroundings, we were pleasantly surprised to avoid them entirely during our stay. Everything was absolutely wonderful!Since we prepared our own dinner in the amazing kitchen, I can’t comment on the restaurant, but the included breakfast was a bit disappointing. For the price we paid for the stay, we expected a slightly higher standard. It was also quite strange that while coffee was included in the breakfast, if you wanted a coffee with milk, there was an additional charge.

My experience in the bamboo house was great—clean, beautiful, romantic, and cozy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. While cooking, we couldn’t find any salt, but after contacting them, they brought us some on a tray, which was impressive 🤯. At night, there were no disturbances from mosquitoes or anything else. However, the only downside was the breakfast. For the price of a night’s stay, I expected something much better than a 7Days or 5days croissant, which was simply microwaved. This part of the experience was quite disappointing, but I believe you will improve on this. 🙏🌞❤️

We had a magical experience at this hotel. First of all, we were captivated by the aesthetics of the "room" when we arrived: all in bamboo, the bathtub with a view, the outdoor shower, the private pool, the kitchen, two beds... All on two floors with a part completely open to the outside: WOW!The service was perfect, we ate very well (with room service for all our meals). The staff also had a little attention with a special decoration, as well as a cake and a bouquet of flowers to mark our honeymoon. The only negative point of the room, if you really had to find one (it took us a while to find!), was the water in the pool which was cold 😂The real downside we had was when we left: we paid the hotel bill the evening before our departure because we knew we were leaving early (7am). In the morning, someone who didn't seem to be part of the hotel ("civilian" outfit who was walking around the parking lot) prevented us from leaving (we had a boat to catch!) because he didn't didn't believe us when we said we had already paid, even though we showed him the bill. He called the manager, who I think was sleeping, and we had to wait 15 minutes for him to arrive for him to confirm that we had paid before letting us leave...

Basically a slightly disappointing experience. Located out in the middle of nowhere, which was also the dream. Nice view and actually ok that it wasn't quiet but a lot of noise from the local temple, it was just cosy. However, the place is designed for two people, even though it was booked for four. Eg only room to eat at a bar where there were two chairs. There are some small towns with fantastically sweet inhabitants, but you can only eat at the hotel and the other nearby hotel. Unfortunately, much of the menu was sold out for the entire stay, and the included breakfast was extremely poor - why not spoil the guests as we have experienced in the rest of Bali, it would be so easy.Lastly, we bought into the fact that there would be animals in the area and the apartment, but why don't you remove excrement from them during cleaning? It seems a bit sloppy.

After 5 weeks of traveling through Asia we ended at Makartibali. Unfortunately, Makarti Bali did not go well. This all started at check-in where we immediately had to sign a 'safety agreement' which absolves them of anything that could happen and that everything you do here is at your own risk. In particular, check the hanging net that belongs to the apartment. Logically yes, but it gave us a very uneasy feeling. It stated that you must respect the number of kilos and other safety measures. When I asked what the maximum weight was (because I am 2.02 m tall), no one could tell me, nor what the other measures are.The boy who helped us then just said that he didn't know and that we should just sign it. He also indicated that we had to wait because we were 15 minutes early for check-in, even though the house was ready. Then he sat looking at his phone very disinterestedly. The reception area is quite simple and the sofas are full of dog hair and apparently it is supposed to represent a restaurant. The restaurant gets 5 stars on Google but there is 0 atmosphere. Lamps hung randomly (not above a table) and no decoration at all. When we arrived in the evening to eat, there was no one there and the staff indicated that everyone always orders and eats in the house. Ordered food several times, partly because it rained for 3 days, but this was really not good and you pay a premium price for it:- the crackers soft,- the spring rolls full of dough and no vegetables- fries cold, soft and undercookedYou also wait an average of 45 to 60 minutes to order the food. And if it's not good, that's a shame.Everything in terms of trips/transport is mega commercial. Nothing is service and there is a big margin on everything. You also pay 200k for a ride of approximately 15 minutes to locations, which is absurdly high by Indonesian standards. The house is as shown in the photos and feels luxurious. But there is a lack of service, which we were used to from all other accommodations. In addition, the sheets and mosquito nets smell musty and are full of stains and spots of dead insects. There are also stains on the towels and bathrobes.Kadak did try to provide the service you expect, but unfortunately it was also subject to limitations. But he did provide a bright spot, he arranged a scooter for us and that was hospitable. Thanks Kadak!

Very beautiful natural two storey bamboo house. Water pressure is very good. Stunning view from the windows when you have a bath in the bathtub. Fully equipped kitchen, very convenient to use. Two toilets at different floors that people live upstairs don't have to go downstairs to use toilet. Stunning view of the field. It's not the best angle to see the rice field, but it is good enough to enjoy at the second level. The garden and the swimming pool design is so beautiful with beautiful lights. We found frogs, geckos and fire flies at night. Cute creatures! Very supportive staff providing good service.Only the quality and the taste of the meals don't match the high price. The beds are damp.

Beautiful house, but dirty bed linen and towels, bad breakfast, loveless dinner, expensive, you can't sit anywhere to eat, the table and chairs don't fit the height of the seat, the seat of the chair is the same height as the table in the kitchen, in nature you can We come across a lot of animals, two frogs that have spawned in the pool, rats in the downstairs bathroom and something that has pooped in the bedroom upstairs... Price performance is not right, construction sites all around, as at least 7 more houses are being built

Wow. This villa is even more impressive than the photos. On arrival, you check in with the Magic Hills Reception and the staff are so nice. We were able to check in early too with no issues! The villa is beautifully designed and comfortable. Watch the sunset from the hanging net or the bathtub, you won't forget that in a while. There are insects that come and visit you from time to time but the mosquito nets are there to protect you when you sleep and they also provided a spray which worked well too. You can hear the sounds of the jungle all night which was soothing to us! Also the staff are so responsive and helpful with anything you need - my husband had a minor back injury and they were so quick to respond to pick up some medicines and check in with him as he recovered. They also arranged a driver for us on request when we wanted to explore east Bali and also transfer to the Gili Islands. Can't wait to stay here again someday!

If you want to immerse yourself in the sounds of nature and total relaxation you are in the right place! The villa has been expertly designed and nothing is missing, everything is in perfect working order and super new. The staff is very kind and professional. The restaurant is also located at the reception and you can choose whether to dine there or order your dinner via wapp and have it brought directly to the villa. For the services offered the price is more than honest.

Makerti is such a beautiful and unique Bamboo house in one the most beautiful areas of Bali. We had a perfect stay here.😊 Even though it's in the nature it's super comfortable, cozy & quiet and we had no bugs in our room. I can really recommend to add this place to your Bali trip!
