The Babakan Accomodations makes you feel at home! What a nice place; a clean room, nice bathroom, a nice terrace and in beautiful surroundings. The breakfast is also tasty. The family makes you feel welcome!

Tucked away in an idyllic and peaceful corner of Sidemen, Bali, is Babakan. The beating heart of this accommodation is Gede and his wonderful family. Very responsive and helpful from our very first communication, Gede left no stone unturned to ensure we have a 10/10 experience. Right from greeting us with his ever smiling face from the airport, to driving us to Sidemen to sharing sight seeing tips that match with my philosophy of travel, Gede went above and beyond.The house is spotlessly clean, as it is maintained by Gede's family with all basic amenities like air conditioning, wardrobe, toiletries etc. We were initially scared thinking there could be mosquitoes as we are in the middle of the rice fields but we're pleasantly surprised to see none. Waking up to the wonderful view of the Agung mountain, starting the day with yummy fried noodles and simply admiring the greenery that Sidemen has to offer - we stayed here for 2 nights and the place absolutely exceeded my expectations.One simply has to experience the hospitality here, to want to keep coming back every time.Team Babakan also are super helpful in terms of arranging transport and offering recommendations wherever needed.

We truly did ourselves a favor by booking this place for our first stay on our Indonesia trip.This place is run by a lovely family and they are super eager to make the stay for their guests worthwhile.Room: the room is spic and span. Overlooks the rice fields and mount Agung in the distance. Set up in a cozy and sleepy part of Bali, Sidemen itself is a wonderful place and Babakan represents the charm of the place. washroom was super clean and room is well stocked with all the necessitiesHost: Gede is one of the most wonderful people you'll meet. He's a great human being who makes you feel like you're staying at a close friend's place. Arranged for lovely day trips around and guided us knowing it's our first trip here. Arranged for the pick up and drop as well. He introduced us to the local culture and local people in detail and has rich suggestions for activities. His family maintains the accommodation like clockwork.Overall this was an 11/10 experience and would suit people who respect the nature and love to stay amidst it.When we visit again, we will definitely stay back :)

A super extremely affordable little gem hidden in Sidemen! For the service and quality that you get you feel like youβre extremely underpaying so we tipped extra.Lovely spacious one bedroom room, fantastic air con, private bathroom with great shower. Location is perfect for where you want to be in Sidemen. A 5 minute walk from the Samanvaya on the same street where youβre paying 100 times more.The staff were above helpful and kind at the Babakan. We were actually checked in to a different accommodation a short walk from the Babakan called the Kubu Tani but returned to our room to find a π in it. So only moved over to the Babakan at 11pm at night in a panic. The owner was above kind, got his car out to collect all of our baggage at 11pm from our first accommodation, had the aircon on for us when we arrived and towels and wifi code all ready for us.We were even given a complimentary original Bali style breakfast the following morning which was unbelievable π€€π₯.Could not recommend highly enough. The staff, Gede and his younger brothers, at the Babakan made our experience for us in Sidemen. We will never forget the kindness of these people and will 100% return the next time we visit Bali.

We followed a recommendation of friends of us who stayed there a few months ago and we were so happy to find this place !The owner made the overall look of our spacious and very clean room, the view from the bed with rice paddies and volcano, service top-notch (room cleaning, motorbike renting at decent price, tours..) and great location nearby tasty warungs and restaurants.We will be back for sure πThank you so much for an incredible stay ππ

We had a great stay in one of the four new and clean apartments. Nice and quiet location, all main points in near distance and several good warungs around. The host Nengah is very kind and helpful.

Incredible value for money. You can have a great time here with little budget. The accommodation is hosted by dad & son and they are both totally loving! If you're a sideman, then definitely come back here. Everything clean & no mosquitoes - great!

We had a really pleasant stay in Sidemen at the Babakan Accomodations. Beautiful view of Mt Agung. Clean and spacious rooms! There are various types of eateries within a 5-minute walk where you can enjoy delicious food. The host is very friendly and helpful! There are also various services that you can use, such as having your clothes washed or arranging transportation.If you are here, we recommend the Sidemen rice terrace trekking, which is nearby and is a lot of fun.All in all we had a really great time here!

We stayed 6 nights in this establishment. It is well located, several Warung nearby and within walking distance. The place is calm and relaxing. You are well received, always with a smile. And the breakfast is good.

We spent 2 nights in this establishment, we had rented 2 villas side by side with a view of Mount Agung. The location is ideal between restaurants and the village.The rooms are very clean with air conditioning and fan. Bedding a little hard but we slept very well nonetheless.The welcome is perfect, attentive, smiling and good advice. They took care of booking scooters and taxis.Regarding breakfast, the Mie Goreng is excellent, but the pancakes are not great.We highly recommend The Babakan Accommodation!

Great view (mount Agung), very clean and new rooms, super friendly and helpfull staff. They advised me to go to a waterfall and it was beautiful, I was the only one there.(The two 1-star reviews come from one french couple. There was a misunderstanding (probably a language barrier), and the owner explained it politely to me that they are having some agenda-related problems with AirBNB)
