It is a really unique stay. We stayed in the snail room and it felt really private. The food is amazing (favourite is definitely the mahi mahi). Would love to stay here again. Do know that there are lot of bugs (they have free mosquito repellent) since you are in nature, but that is definitely part of this experience 🤗

We stayed at Manta House on my birthday during our honeymoon in Bali! There were two commemorative dates and I couldn't have spent that day in a more charming place! Beautiful place, very clean, organized, very attentive staff, a fantastic experience! We had a romantic dinner and everything was exceptional! Thank you so much for an incredible day!!

Loved the location,evergreen moments..The staff very kind and helpful ..They did a wonderful birthday dinner for me ,it was so romantic with the colors of sunset and under the moonlight.The Octopus house is like a dream house..all the facilities were ok.I would suggest to add some extra curtains for more privacy during shower time.Sleepping in an open bamboo house was a unique experience with the sounds of nature overnight.It was rainy but very nice during the night.If you close well the curtains all over the bed you dont feel disturbed by the insects or mosquitos.Top hotel in Ubud and i highly recommend for celebrating special nights.

I strongly advise against booking at the Veluvana Bali Hotel. Contrary to what they announce in their rules, there is no way of refunding or rescheduling your stay. …

It’s really beautiful to see one be that close to nature in this modern world where almost everything is close to artificial. The insects and gecko won’t let me sleep at night and is so annoying but will i come here again, HELL YESSSS 😂💯. Thank you guys especially Suriya, YOU made my stay WONDERFUL ❤️

My experience was different and a shock to me. Thank God it is night. The place appears on social media and Instagram as more private, but in reality there is no privacy. The villa has no doors or windows in the middle of the fields. Even the bathroom has no door, just a curtain and insects come to you from everywhere during the day. The view is beautiful at night. I can sleep, and I rented another villa next to them so that I can sleep, as there is a gecko above the bed in the bedroom, or what is called a gecko. Their number exceeds 10 and they are very large, and there is only a mosquito net. I asked the room service to do what they can to expel them so that I can sleep, and they told me that their homes are inside the bamboo stalk. We can do something other than rent another place at my personal expense, and the rent amount was exaggerated. He also told me that if I wanted to photograph with drones, I had to tell them so they could ask permission from the neighbors. Five minutes later, I saw drones next to the villa and above us, and none of us asked permission. The next day, they told us after we left that there were Drones for photography. They had to inform tourists or renters of the nature of the situation inside the villas. Yes, I know that the nature of the place justifies the presence of such insects, but not in such a terrifying quantity. It is a completely inappropriate appearance. I have rented in many resorts inside Bali, more or less luxurious, but they respected the opinions of customers and tourists. They do everything they can to make us comfortable. As for breakfast, it was delicious and beautifully presented.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Snail House at Veluvana for two nights, and my experience was truly exceptional. The accommodations were both cozy and visually stunning, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.The meals served at the hotel were outstanding, featuring a variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes.What really made my visit unforgettable, however, was the remarkable staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to assist with any request. If I could rate it 10 stars, I would! We had the most incredible time staying in the Octopus house. Service is incredible and the food delivered to your room is delicious!You communicate with the staff via WhatsApp anytime you need anything and they are so helpful!Of course you are staying in a house without walls, so be prepared to sleep with the sounds of nature - if you are worried, just pack ear plugs and you will have a great time. So worth it to wake up at sunrise to the view of Mount Agung.
