We had an amazing stay at Karatu Homestay! We stayed for four nights in this lovely Homestay. The owner of the Homestay helped us with everything we needed. He picked us up and dropped us off at the harbour and arranged a guide and a scooter for us. He was always really friendly and happy!The rooms had a nice shower and a airco and the beds were comfortable.I would highly recommend everyone to stay at this Homestay.

To visit SIAU, the Karatu homestay is a pleasant place.The kindness and sense of welcome from Romuald the boss are very appreciable. He enjoys preparing breakfasts with local specialties and discussing the island of SIAU.It allowed me to meet a local Ifan guide.Ifan organized hikes for me to the volcano and in the mountains.His kindness and knowledge of the island's culture allowed me to be in contact with the inhabitants.An unforgettable and incredible experience.Do not hesitate to use its services, you will be satisfied.

Very nice and helpful family. My tour guide was canceled due to a toothache, so Anita's husband got into his pickup truck and drove me to nutmeg farms, including into the forest, where a few kids were getting ready to show me tassiere. Was a wonderful trip. Thanks for the great time π
