Great stay with Lorenzo and his family. Cottage by the sea with your feet in the sand, possibility of snorkeling (very beautiful). Basic cottage. Perfect place to come and relax for a few days. Don't rely on the internet or technology

we were held hostage in the middle of the sea by three men with machetes pointed at their throats because they wanted to rob us, we just had to go from Manado to Lorenzo's island. we had paid their boss but they wanted more money so the drivers of the boat got drunk and threatened us by throwing our souvenirs into the sea. OTHER PEOPLE LIKE US ON THE ISLAND HAVE HAD TO SUFFER THE SAME TRAUMA. DO NOT GO TO LORENZO THERE ARE OTHER BEAUTIFUL PLACES THE FIVE OF US RISKED OUR LIFE IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIFE. RUINED HOLIDAY.

Not a great value considering the price. Nice setting, friendly owner, but too hot to sleep - no fan and in long term electricity only 6 hrs a day starts to annoy. The cabins are rustic and a bit run down, but cleaning and professionalism could be improved. No emptying of trash in 5 days from bin in my room, no soap or shampoo and it feels chaotic. I ate more or less the same food every evening. The breakfast was alwas pancake. For 15 euro single or 24 euro double it is bad price value ratio.

I stayed 4 nights and we were only two guests. Big bungalow, old mattress, mosquito net, no running water but big bucket with fresh water. No key to lock from inside but I wasn't afraid. …

Basic accomadations at Lorenzo's, the owner foraged for food daily, no wifi and electricity/water only 6hrs a day 6pm-12am. Bucket shower. No fan. No refrigerator. Much in disrepair. 200 incl 3 meals. Owner friendly n good cook.

Great place, almost hiden behind the mangrove trees and the forest, if you want to relax don't hesitate. Also it is a nice spot for snorkelingThe owner is very kind, speaks a perfect english and cooks very well.You will enjoy your stay for sure
