If I could put more than 5 stars I would, I stayed with my boyfriend for 4 nights and I had an amazing experience! The place is nice and clean and is right on the beach, were you can see a beautiful sunset every evening! The place is managed by a very nice family, they are all super friendly and is a must try If you like good food! They cook different things every day and all is very very tasty! Lots of food and options also for vegetarian. The atmosphere in general is very chill, is a nice place to relax and we felt like home ! 100% recommended! if we stay in Bunaken again we will definitely come back here :)

The best food we had while traveling to Indonesia for 3 months and there was more than enough for everyone. The owners were really nice and made sure we had all we needed, even asking us what we would like to eat and organizing a dolphin trip. The only slightly negative point for me would be the bed that was perhaps a little bit old because we could feel the springs. Overall it was a very nice stay !

Sunset guest house met all my expectations! It is just as mentioned in your description and the comments of other guests. The food is delicious, the hosts are very nice and helpful in every way possible. Also the place is very clean and the shower has good pressure.

We stayed 3 nights and everything was perfect. The food was abundant and delicious, they helped us organize excursions and the arrival and departure by boat. It is very well located and good value for money. I would repeat!

We spent 3 days with Helmi and his family.We really enjoyed our stay. The food was fantastic. There are three meals a day. There is something for everyone here.The owner was also helpful in organizing day trips. We didn't miss anything in the rooms. Thank you again for everything.

We spent a few days here and everything was perfect.The food is restaurant worthy.The activities offered by the owner were awesome.We did a Snorkeling day and a day discovering dolphins, it was magicalThe owner organized the round trip for us from Manado airport and also organized the round trip to another accommodation that we were doing after Bunaken towards Tangkoko π

This is a highly recommended guesthouse in Bunaken. The owner couple is really friendly and best of all, it includes 3 meals and the food is so delicious...! You can make snorkeling tour reservations at the guesthouse and they also sell beer, so everything is covered here. The water is so clean for snorkeling and there are a lot of turtles! It was so much fun to get together every night and have fun while drinking beer. As the name suggests, as a sunset spot, there is a beach just 1 minute away, so you can go out to see the sunset every night, and there is a boat ride 2 minutes away, so there is no location like this. Bunaken...I want to go again.I had an amazing experience staying at Sunset Guest House for 2 nights. It's one I'll never forget. Helmi and Yoke, the owners, were incredibly friendly, and Yoke's cooking was amazingly delicious. Seriously, it was the best Indonesian food I've ever tasted. The room was very clean and had a cozy vibe. Plus, they sell beer right at the guesthouse, so there's no need to go out elsewhere.Every evening, all guests we'd all gather for dinner and hanging out and enjoying some drinks.On top of that, I can easily book snorkeling trips at affordable prices directly through this guesthouse.I saw dolphins, even went snorkeling twice a day in different spots, and it was one of the best snorkeling experiences I've ever had.The sunsets each night were so beautiful, especially from the guesthouse and my room.And with the beach just a 2-minute walk away, the location is also very nice. I would've loved to extend my stay, but here is so popular that already filled...If you find a homestay in Bunaken, Sunset Guest House is a must-stay. Highly, highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay of 5 nights at Sunset Guesthouse.Helmi and his family provide you with all you need.You have an awesome breakfast - always with fruits - and his wife cooks *extremely* delicious meals for lunch and dinner! (Can also be vegan or vegetarian)Helmi will help you with all your organisational needs (ferry to arrive at/leave Bunaken, motorbike, snorkelling equipment, boat hiring for trips)The rooms are simple but effective. At night it's usually not that hot - so the fan is enough.And at daytime you are hopefully swimming, snorkelling, diving or exploring the island!The sitting area is a good place to chill in the evening or when it's raining.Highly recommended

Our stay at Sunset Guesthouse was really very pleasant. Helmi and his wife gave us a warm welcome and were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The tour they organized was particularly impressive, where we had the opportunity to watch numerous dolphins and spend time at beautiful snorkeling spots. Helmi also helped us organize our minibus to Gorontalo, which made our journey much easier.The accommodation at Sunset Guesthouse is simple, but offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and comfortably furnished, so we immediately felt at home. What is particularly noteworthy, however, is the delicious food, which was prepared with a lot of love every day. The variety of dishes surprised us positively and provided culinary highlights.Finally, we would like to thank Helmi and his wife. Their warm welcome and hospitality made our stay unforgettable.
