Basic rooms, nice staff, great service and atmosphere and low price. Close proximity from beach and bars but still a quiet location. Mosque is nearby and wakes you up at night but this is normal on gili islands and Lombok

Lovey stay! The hosts were helpful, honest, and accommodating. A little off the main drag but a short walk to the ferry which is nice. Felt like home!

This is one of the best places I have stayed in Indonesia. Candra, the host, was extremely friendly, and genuine. The rooms are clean and all have air conditioning, something quite uncommon for hostels at this price point.My only complaint is the noise from the roosters next door as well as the sunrise prayer from the mosque was quite alarming, however, the entire island shares that experience. It should be noted that Candra offered remedies for the noise issues, however, we enjoyed staying here so much that figured it was worth it to stay.

Wonderfull owner/host. Our original hotell had overbooked and did not honor our ( fully paid ) reservations, thwn pretty much kicked us to the street. Lucky for us, we stumbled by thw House Hosel and were able to get a room for the night. Its sumple accomodations, but verry clean, and as other reviews mention, you will be hard pressed to experience a warmer kinder host than Candra.

I must start by saying about our incredible host Chandra! What a guy 👌 not only was he great to get along with, friendly and attentive but he made us feel so welcome and helped anytime we needed him. He even took us on a beautiful sunset walk up the hill to see some amazing views and watch the sunset in such a cool and chilled place. He does this walk 2-3 times a week to get that vitamin D in and is gracious enough to bring house guests along too 🙏 everything about our stay was 10/10 and not forgetting the BEST banana pancakes in the whole world, I don’t know how he does it or if he has a secret recipe but I would stay here again for the pancakes alone 🤌 it’s in a quite spot away from all the noise on the island and the place itself is stunning and so aesthetically pleasing! Chandra, thank you so much for everything mate, I look forward to seeing you again and will be sure you seek you out when I’m next in town. Big love mate 🫶

Candra is the coolest host I’ve met while traveling, if you’re looking for a space to meet people and avoid the crowds, I’d recommend The House in a heartbeat

Very good hostel. Quite basic but ideal for solo travelers. The location is quite quiet, away from the party. It's only about 5 minutes on foot to the beach (like almost everywhere on Gili T.). The operator is super friendly and helpful and the banana pancakes for breakfast are really great!

Stayed here for 6 nights. Chandra was an amazing host, super friendly and gave us great advice on places to eat. Really nice atmosphere and located just back from the main strip. The rooms and the rest of the hostel were kept really clean and the air-con was the best we have had on our travels so far. Banana pancake breakfast was delicious too. If we are back in Gili T we will definitely stay again.
